I have started hunting on my grandparents land, no one hunts there except me. I have multiple deer every time I have went. I have seen lots of big typical 12 points or so. I just need some tips for hunting places where the deer are not used to people. I have shot one doe there. I have a double stand setup on a little trail. I am in northern Alabama we’re the rut is in January- February
ОтветитьThis is my first year hunting. Thanks for the advice. I will watch more videos. I wish i could hunt with someone.
ОтветитьGreat tips
ОтветитьCan y'all tell me a good mobile treestand, please?
ОтветитьWhats funny is, no matter how much studying, scouting, and hunting you do, we will Never Fully understand them. But good effort.
ОтветитьAaron is my favorite hunter out of this group. Thanks guys y’all are great.
ОтветитьThanks guys.
ОтветитьBelieve on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved
ОтветитьI’ve slept in deer beds on a very steep hillsides
ОтветитьThanks for the info.
ОтветитьCattails have the sam effects as milkweed if you cant find or have milkweed
ОтветитьDropped one this morning
ОтветитьSo the general rule seems to be- set up near bedding at dawn and food plots at dusk. I don't understand why a decent bedding area can't be camped at dusk, to bag a deer when deer would be LEAVING it. Is it because deer will often bed down close enough to the edge of the cover to see out, and will see you set up mid-late afternoon?
Ответитьyou guys are just the best! thanks for all your hard work! charlie m.
Ответитьawesome tips, the bedding one was great for me.
ОтветитьLast year, i spooked a Buck. He took off over the side of the ridge. I waited about a minute then slowly crept to the edge of the ridge. The sucker was down there grunting at me, halfway up the next ridge, but walking back my direction. So from spook time to kill, only about 3 minutes passes
ОтветитьMilkweed. So cool! Great tip! Love doing thing naturally. Thanks!
ОтветитьGoose down from a old vest or bag works well too
ОтветитьI have enjoyed Jim Riser background music for some time. You guys are pretty good too. Good stuff thanks
ОтветитьMilkweed is a great tip, thanks
ОтветитьI like the milkweed idea but it's not always easy finding milkweed.
I've always just used white sewing string (like the one you pull off of your deer feed bag) and its been very helpful for checking the wind.
My first deer last year 4×4 I scared away plus 3 other bucks and does, trying get to the blind than a half hour later he came back out. I made a few more mistakes but still got him.
ОтветитьThe milkweed trick is genius!!
ОтветитьOutstanding video! Best deer hunt video I've seen in a long time. Nice job!
ОтветитьVery true and great information 👍🏻 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
ОтветитьWhere I live the deer bed in wide open hard woods on top of ridges
ОтветитьDo you guys think that a deer on alert runs farther.
Then a deer that is relaxed.
Just a general comment, nothing negative, and let’s just say I really like your videos. I notice you sometimes forget not everyone has that many days of hunting available… Spooking a buck is not dramatic if you have an entire season ahead, but for « non pro hunter video producers » it means done deal…
ОтветитьShoot 70lbs compound. Aim at the aorta valve on the heart, then drop your aim the distance of your penis length, unfortunately I always hit the dirt below the deer.
ОтветитьAlso as a 61 year old out of shape truck driver, everything hurts, I'm not traveling very far to a stand. I've gotten a few decent bucks but not a 160 or better!
ОтветитьLiving in my hunting area, I don't have any idea where bucks bed down. I have seen does bedding down on my property but not one buck
ОтветитьAll living things has a soul. The animals agree in some order to give their lives to humans, IF IT IS NECCECARY ! Killing people or animals for fun or just for sport, is just another murder. There is energies and forces in nature that may try to stop you if you do that as many hunters can testify about. ,
ОтветитьI spooked a buck last season with a missed shot thanks to a small branch I didn’t see in my scope. 10 minutes later he came back into the field I was hunting and I downed him. This was during the rut which I feel had to play a huge part in it. Sometimes when you think it’s over, it isn’t.
Ответить#3 is a great tip! 30 years of hunting, I still have to tell myself to hold low.
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьTo be honest, and my rite of opinion, I used to love THP. I just can't handle it anymore. They got old quick. Thanks for allowing me to put in my 2 cents.👍
ОтветитьJumping the string is by far the hardest lesson in bow hunting. Great job describing
ОтветитьI use to tie a bright thread to the bow to keep eye on the wind.
ОтветитьMilk weed is great way to read the wind. Great idea.
ОтветитьThe milkweed is excellent butterfly habitat! Nice work
ОтветитьNahh
ОтветитьHunting in Georgia well northeast Georgia is a whole nother ballgame.... it's just way different here.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьAnother alternative for wind direction I have been using is breast feathers off a dove they float pretty good in the wind and are plentiful if you hunt them.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or does dude look like a taller tom cruise
ОтветитьTip # 1 : Stop killing innocent deer.
Tip # 2 : Go to therapy to discuss your psychopathic tendencies to kill innocent living creatures for fun.
I bet ted wishs he'd have known about that hand he's holding up before driving fence posts . Get well soon Ted .
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьJust got my first bow this week. This was my first video of yours. Won’t be my last
