Umm, the airline isn't paying for your hotel room because YOU got yourself so intoxicated that you weren't fit to fly on the flight you had booked. The airline typically only pay for hotel rooms when THEY (or their subsidiaries) are the ones at fault. At a stretch, they might pay if YOU are the one at fault but are pleasant and polite with them. This woman wouldn't know how to be pleasant and polite even if the instructions were sung to her in rap lyrics! 😂

I don’t know how some people get through life with zero self awareness. I don’t know how they get anything accomplished behaving this way, which leads me to believe they probably don’t get much accomplished in life. Drunk or not, this is anti-social behaviour and the underlying set of beliefs that her own actions are everyone else’s fault, and she should be accommodated at all times, no matter what, despite the consequences which arose from her own actions. Think of the mental gymnastics that this takes: ‘I chose to get overly intoxicated prior to my flight, the airline denied me boarding so they should pay for a hotel and a new ticket and they should be the ones apologizing to ME. I feel entitled to be rude to everyone I encounter and they should just put up with it and me’.
