I hate overanalyzing but I got to do something with my observations so might as well spill random facts

So, after analyzing the scene, it is unlikely the character would be killed like in the show.
The truck did not plow through her. It had enough time to come to a complete stop as soon as the girl was hit, which means it could not have gone over 20-30kph
The girl goes flying, but at that arc it would be unlikely that she would have gone further than 5m, maybe 6 with sliding taken into play (I've seen people get hit farther and faster than that with less injuries).
Synopsis, She likely would not have died from the initial crash. A few broken bones and a concussion for sure, maybe even a knockout, but death is implausible.
even if she died, the most plausible way she would have died is from lack of provided medical care after the crash, which is implausible because there was a witness (the driver) and I am sure some other bystander would help a concussed girl lying in the middle of the road
If she did die, the driver would also be charged with Negligence and Manslaughter, landing a fine of 500k JPY and anywhere from 10 years to Life in Prison.
