So this is what happens in Atomic Heart.
ОтветитьIt's also pretty good for containing an Evangelion
ОтветитьThe pronunciation of the inventors name is bah-kuh-lahnd and not bake land
Land pronounced like wand with an L
Its therfore bah-kuh-liet
"Liet" like lead and not lite
granny vs soy boys
ОтветитьHDOE HDOE
ОтветитьGOING NUTS, HEARING VOICES ALL NIGHT
ОтветитьThat typical bakelite smell of burning handles on the old kitchenware from grandma 😅
ОтветитьFun fact: Bake lite was used as furniture for many firearms back in the day, especially popular in the Soviet union. It proved much more tough, wear resistant and weatherproof than wood. however, although very hard, when bakelite breaks it fractures in extremely jagged an sharp edges. It was removed from firearm furniture in no small part due to soldiers getting impaled by their weapons if they fell on them the wrong way...
ОтветитьGOING NUTS HEARING VOICES ALL NIGHT ‼️‼️‼️‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьAK furniture is made of bakelite
ОтветитьEmil Lund! Hvem er du?
ОтветитьIf you were to do this now with that vacuum oven that you have would that stop it from bubbling??
ОтветитьWhat if you heated it in a vacuum chamber?
ОтветитьHow dare you mentional all these things made of bakelite without mentioning ak mags... truly despicable...
ОтветитьLeo Baekeland: invents one of the first synthetic plastics
SO IT WAS YOU. YOU WERE THE REASON PLASTIC IS IN MY BLOOD.
bro think he hdoe
ОтветитьNileRed, can you redo this now that you have access to pressure chambers that could help prevent the bubbling, i.e. stop the water from boiling by putting everything in to a high pressure environment?
ОтветитьI really miss Bakelite its such a beautiful looking and feeling material.
ОтветитьNovo-Lax (tm) "for a clean feeling".
ОтветитьMe, watching these videos, after failing chemistry: I like your words. Magic man.
ОтветитьWish you would just say "celsius" or "degrees celsius." To a physicist "100c" means 100 times the speed of light
ОтветитьHACKLE DOWN ON EM!
ОтветитьCrazy how you say bakelite "bake-a-lite" then Baekeland "bakeland". English is hard.....
Ответитьevangelion reference
ОтветитьKorobov liked that
ОтветитьPrayers beads made out of the original bakelite are selling for crazy prices out here in Saudi
ОтветитьMake some bakelite magazines for my ak47s, you bastard. Do it now you nerd boy.
ОтветитьProbably not a good idea to eat toast or candy at your house...
ОтветитьAnyone who has work in a mortuary can smell this video.
ОтветитьI used to work at a mortuary and we would make this stuff with very old tools we had. Never knew what it was and always thought it was fucked up to make a toy with formaldehyde but turns it out it's pretty normal. Wack.
ОтветитьAre licenses required for any of these chemicals (in the USA)?
ОтветитьNew Bakelite mags when?
ОтветитьI’m really surprised I didn’t see any AK mags
ОтветитьThey also used to make Kalashnikov Rifle magazines from this stuff I think
ОтветитьI only knew about Bakelite from evangelion lol
ОтветитьIsnt a bakelizer just a pressure cooker?
ОтветитьPressure cooker maybe?
ОтветитьA pressure pots are dirt cheap
ОтветитьResole looks so dabbable
ОтветитьWould you ba able to use a pressure cooker as a bakelizer?
Basically Strachan a valve stem with a Schrader valve to pre-pressurize it, then heat it. You wouldn't be able to observe the reaction, but you'd have your pressure.
Phenolic looks similar. Just HOW similar is it, if at all?
ОтветитьThe only reason ik what bakelite is, is bc magazines for the AK 74 and AKM assault rifles were made from bakelite at one point💀
ОтветитьI Can Imagine This To be Used As A + B Ingridient Spray Foam For Houses, Looks Realkly Strong, Imagine Finding Some Sprayable Metal With A B Compaunds, That Would Change The WHOLE World
ОтветитьIMAGINE How Much reactions WE DONT KNOW, How Much Amalgamations, I BET There Is A Way To Make Gold, But Its So Absurd That You Would Never Think of It, Idk.
ОтветитьI use bakelite all the time when making knife handles, in the form of micarta which is made from the phenolic resin with layers of linen or canvas or paper reinforcing it, whereas classic bakelite uses finely powdered sawdust. Micarta's durability, strength to weight ratio, look, and feel really can't be beat for many applications.
ОтветитьIf you have a older mechanical electrical meter at your home, the back of it is bakelite.
Ответитьof all the things i could've once owned made out of bakelite, i believe it was a toilet paper holder
ОтветитьSo Nile has NASA convinced you to join them yet??
Ответить
