I am in a very dark place in my life, and knowing the backstory of this song i sometimes feel like Martin: giving up on life, accepting your own failure and inevitable early death. Yet what makes this song so powerful is that you can interpret this song as the embodiment of the indominable human spirit. Literally Martin talking about overcoming his struggles and finally feeling like it's worth being alive, thanking everyone who's helped him on his journey. I really hope that one day i will listen to this song feeling the latter, feeling thankful for bringing me home. I have tickets for their concert, and even tho i'm sure that i will cry during it, if they start playing home, im gonna burst out in tears at the stadium. Thank you Martin, i'm looking forwad to see you on stage.

God speaks through this group and their lyrics ..I remember when my wife finally left her old career and changed to a new career she may not be paid as much but it has its own rewards ..their kind and human . There is a difference ..when she left she said omg ! I found my song ! I'm so proud of her and support her decision!

listening to depeche mode since im 5 years (thank you Mother <3) i dont understand shit as this young age cuz im german native. but some words like home and showing i did know and with the video i know that this is a really sad song but i always liked it. but now i am 24 and this song hits even harder since i relalised i had these depressive feelings hearing this song as a child to but i couldnt order it in at the time. music can be so powerfull with youre emotuions its crazy
