Love the models from Lord of the Print
ОтветитьI recently signed up for Artisan Guild’s patreon because I love the models (except the tasteless pinups) but I just saw the guy, Andrea, is a super Trumper so I’m out.
ОтветитьI recommend lychie slicer, makes hollowing and supporting things very easy.
ОтветитьThanks Nate for the Video.
Does anyone know where to find.........WWII..... files?
Artisan's Guild is my favorite. Don't own a 3D Printer. But they are my go to when I buy them off Etsy.
ОтветитьGreat grimoire is my num 2, num 1 bring loot studios.
ОтветитьYou can re size any mini in the workshop.
ОтветитьWhat abbout buildings and terain printing
ОтветитьLoot studios models are of a superb quality...and i need a larger printer because their Thor statue is HUMONGOUS.
ОтветитьSo for all of these, do you get access to their back catalogue when you subscribe to them? Seems silly to subscribe with the intent on using the minis for your games when you only get one theme per month.
ОтветитьClay Cyanide is a great creator, a lot more direct mythological stuff covering Norse, Chinese, Japanese, etc. pantheons. They have great detail to them as well and I think their style is a good middle ground of the more grounded look I like to miniatures along with a more distinct style. Would love to see another video like this in the future.
ОтветитьI’ve recently subbed to Mierce minis, they’re a newer 3d printable sub, but I used to purchase their physical minis too and they are fantastic quality sculpts that print well.
ОтветитьEnjoyed
ОтветитьI use Epax Hard resin. Small parts don’t break as easy.
Ответитьdo a who has the best 3d printable terrain, I am in the market. :)
ОтветитьCast n Play is the other mini sub apart from Artisans Guild that I’ve bought the most of. Like AG they have a really nice distinctive style.
ОтветитьAnyone else here cause they have a 3D printing problem, and starting to feel concerned/guilty that I'm only creating yet more plastic into a world that's dying due to plastic pollution/ overpopulation.
ОтветитьShould also have a look at STLFLIX !!!
ОтветитьNo Bestiarum miniatures?!? Come on man ;)
ОтветитьMy personal favourite is Flesh of Gods. Really high quality, presupported and with slicer files (never had a fail), and a good variety: normal-sized playable characters, large beasts and stuff, busts, stat blocks, etc.
ОтветитьAs of March 2023, this review is a bit out of date so a new one would be great. One Page Rules has about as many Patreons as Artisan guild, Titan Forge, and Crippled God Foundry, COMBINED. I do agree with the comments in the review. Artisan Guild supports are the easiest to remove and I avoid Loot Studios since their Supports suck. The time it takes me to remove a single Loot Studios model, I could probably remove about a dozen Artisan Guild models. Great models, but supports are horrible.
Ответитьit seems like a massive let down for people that cant really justify buying a 3D printer :( id love so many subscriptions but i cannot afford the big payment of a printer, what oter options are out there for people in my position ?
ОтветитьSwitch your resin to an ABS like resin. ( I use sunlu) I have never broken a mini. I have dropped them several times. I also rip the supports off and never have ripped off a part. I print mostly Loot studios while I have had no issues removing supports I agree the little contact points are a pain to remove as there is just so many. I have started using a Dremel with diamond tip bit and it makes short work of those.
ОтветитьDude, I hope you did not breed, your genetics are terrible
ОтветитьI'm about to order some printed minis of dwarves and frog-people from sculpts by Artisan Guild and I'm really looking forward to getting to work on them. I like their style, it's kinda chunky, got some nice details, but the models seem very clear, almost all of them have some great personality to them, not just your typical Games Workshop angry face or battle cry face, but all kinds of smirks and shit.
ОтветитьShould do this video almost yearly.
ОтветитьNewbie question, do the subscriptions generally allow you full access to the library or do they charge per download?
ОтветитьMEGAMIND!!!
ОтветитьArtisan Gild and Loot are both my faves too. You should check out Clay Cyanide Miniatures. I like their stuff too as they employ ancient mythology to TTRPG. Cool stuff at a durable scale. Loot with the realistic scale is very hard to paint and keep in one piece.
ОтветитьHeroes Infinite by Raging Heroes is also a pretty high-tier subscription service
ОтветитьThe bit where you broke your poor wizard was hilarious and im glad you left it in the video LMAO
ОтветитьQuesting for anyone on the Elagoo printers. Do they cause toxic plastic particles?
Ответитьnot my cup of tea... you can do better
ОтветитьCan I create my own????? And does it have color you can do yourself
ОтветитьI like Papsikels and The Printing Goes Ever On miniatures.
ОтветитьYou should add us to the list 😜
ОтветитьFinding this vid a year latter feels like im behind but what would u recommend for some one who docent have a 3d printer and wants minins that can be shipped
ОтветитьEpic Miniatures, you get a huge amount of minis every month and they are very high quality without being TOO detailed. I typically dont like hyper realistic miniatures and their designs remind me of old school dnd art.
ОтветитьI have the first edition of xmen age of apolocalypse hidden away somewhere. Think i might have bought 2. havent seen them in about 20 years but i know i have them somewhere
ОтветитьInfinite heroes is pretty good
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Already subscribed to loot ans will look at the others. But actually i would like to discover a modern mini pack or a 1920's mini pack. I do some Cthullu and Vampire the Masquerade and I'd like to find minis for those games. If you know some please share. Thanks.
ОтветитьI highly recommend Flesh of Gods as well. Great minis for horror campaigns!
ОтветитьBestiarum.
ОтветитьCrippled God gave me the impression of a none consistent art design, mixing true-scale with a more cartoony looking style even in a month package, like getting a mixed bag of reaper miniatures.
Ответитьlost kingdom are the best fantasy miniature patreon for whfb
ОтветитьThanks for the video.
Have you tried printing any of these subscription models on an FDM printer? I have a delta printer.
Thanks for any feedback!
I love this video; it is so informative! Thanks bro!
Ответитьit just depends on what you want
ОтветитьBestiarum is the best, and you missed it.
