I had normal anxiety, then one night it felt different and my chest started to act up. These last two months I have gotten so many physical symptoms and some mental. Started meds but really hope I can get back to that normal feeling I had back then.

I often get anxiety and I cannot put my finger on it. But I have suffered a life time of abuse from childhood on up, be it physical, emotional, or verbal abuse. I was able to keep it in check until the pandemic, and now I just cannot control it and it comes up when I least expect it.

I know how it really works because I had what was one over the summer and figured out the day she got fired. She was one of you yeah oh well I did not know into the M I was in a factory at the time what I’m not there anymore, she showed me she showed me some tricks, which she had no clue that could very backfire to some people with didn’t tell me the tricks. I would not be the person I am today goodbye.

Some of us are also lazy, are also hypochondriacs, have fear issues, (abuse from our childhood from bully's and father) extreme fear of death and guilt of bad things we did in our past. People don't like me because I talk too much that's another of the reasons I don't work. I play drums at home but worry some that one time I'm going to play too hard and give myself a heart attack. My wife commited suicide and I'm part of the reason because I have also anger issues from abuse from the 70s when I was a child

Sometimes I get anxious without reason. I just feel like there is a major problem. But I think I actually am able to think myself out of this anxiety. I will just stop and really think WHAT is happening or has happened around me that might get me in trouble me in trouble. I will go through what I did in the day, in the week, think about work or my relationships, and I will really think hard about everything around me to see what is wrong. If I can’t think of anything, then I just tell myself everything is alright. I start doing something like the “grounding” technique he mentions. I breathe deeply, listen to my surroundings, and just comfort myself by repeating to myself that everything is allright. I’m fine, I’m safe, everything is fine. And this usually does it. I really calm down.

Now, if I get anxious because a real problem is happening. Maybe I didn’t think about it at the time, but it just now popped up in my mind: then I can 1) try to see if there is anyway I can solve it right now. 2) If I can’t, I write it down and make a plan on what to do first thing in the morning. 3) Remind myself that tomorrow morning I will probably not even think it is as a big deal as I think it is right now (as it usually happens to me) and I will either solve it or discuss it with someone to help me solve it. Sometimes this helps me calm down enough that at least I can go to sleep (because this also usually happens at night), and sometimes, I won’t be able to get over it and just accept I will sleep badly but take comfort that tomorrow it will be better.

I’ve had anxiety since I was a kid but now it’s so unpredictable. Used to I could feel it coming on and I could get rid of it easier. Now it comes on suddenly or I wake up with it. Like today I woke up and felt just weird and I immediately started panicking

I feel like these when I'm in the middle of an attack I have a hard time remembering my coping skills and then it's too late to calm my self down, I can't think clearly and freeze and feels like the panic feeling last for hours until I can feel calm and steady again. Can you share some exercises that can help me prevent my attacks from happening or slow them down when they do, 🙏

Fear is an emotional BELIEF of the unknown that we can’t control, which causes much anxiety. We should have fear, because it’s an NATURAL emotion. So the No. 1 question is “WHERE SHOULD I PLACE THIS NATURAL EMOTION OF FEAR” ?

Hello Doctor. I suffer from essential tremor, not Parkinson's disease. When I hold a glass of water, my hands tremble and I feel embarrassed. When a problem occurs in front of me, my body trembles and my heart races. A neurologist prescribed an anticonvulsant drug (Mysoline). It was an effective treatment and the tremor disappeared, but it had disturbing side effects. Are there nutritional supplements that have the same effect as the anticonvulsant primidone (Mysoline) ..

Fruit 🍎 and plants 🪴 didn’t think the Star Trek visualization was real and NOT helpful (funny though), at all cause it kind of is like not real thing and it’s in space and it’s made up so I’d like to using a plant that I planted and actually planting that and seeing it grow and thinking about that plant in the flowers 💐 are produced and then I also thought about him an apple and an orange and really visualize like what it smells like what that fruit taste like peeling that Orange 🍊 etc.

So I tried making eye contact at a festival for the last 1.5 hours. Total fail! No one, but really NO ONE! Was making eye contact with me.
So in a way it still helped against social anxiety, because now i know, no one even realizes i am there. I am a total ghost. So i can do whatever i want and dont need to be afraid of someone judging me
