This fat guy seems to have misunderstanding of Ramayana and it's characters. Valmiki Ramayana is the actual Ramayana from which all other Ramayanas take their base from and hence it is the most truthful version of Ramayana characters. The guest should perhaps study more.

In Taminadu rural village folk story's sita projected as Ravana's daughter and that story doesn't talk about any super natural powers of Ravan or Ram.. It is just a story of fight between 2 kings with different ideology from different kingdoms. Even few stories talk about ravan's favourite food which is peacocks curry. And the women in ravan's kingdom where projected as modern in those time where the girl have equal rights as man in the kingdom also girls given full freedom to select there life partner.

I read somewhere that ravan was a devotee of bramha/vishnu. He was so devoted that he raised his hands for a thousand years to show his penance. He was rewarded with a boon which made him invincible except through navel which he was eventually defeated. He was also born from a sage and a demon woman. Anyone else hear this version?

We dont really need to give importance to distorted versions of Ramayana. Even I can write my version of Ramayana for my reasons. With enough following, it may become popular too. That should be considered just a story.
