Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 Audio Interface

If my midi keyboard only has a midi out, can I then connect it to the focusrite's midi in only ? If yes, given that the keyboard is only connected then via midi out tot midi in and not via midi out to midi in and midi in to audio interface's midi out, do I loose functionality ? I mainly use the keyboard as midi controller to record midi into my daw and control my daw. any advise would be appreciated

But what wires do I need to record the sounds from my keyboard on the DAW? I understand the Midi wires will help me control my keyboard as a controller, but what about the actual sounds from the keyboard? Do I need to buy a STAGG JACK (STC3PCM) to record the actual sounds from my keyboard via the Focusrite?

How can i hear the midi audio signals from the pc with good clarity.......?

is there any midi signal latency? do u press a key and see the input in a bit delayed.. (like the midi to usb convertor cables. even on a fast mac. ) .. im keen on buying this as a part of my portable set-up but also plan to use it in live gigs with midi devices..

Yes, aslong as you set the input to the focusrite. It works really well.
