Well Troglydude , This IS A REALLY Nice piece!!👍 Well put together , Spec wise!! A Really Great sounding guitar all the way around. PERFECT PICK UPS , TO DO EVERYTHING WITH🤘. NO NEED For Active pick ups (and or cheating to get fake / overpowered highs and lows) tone wise. And there's no gold on it to make it ugly.... A DEFINITE KEEPER!!! Don't sell it , it's a REAL Gem✌️
ОтветитьAt $8K in pre-pandemic money, I would have handed it right back to them. Completely unacceptable. Do it right, or don’t do it at all. Shame on you Gibson 🫨
ОтветитьAll over priced nothing but metal and wood
ОтветитьThat's fuxkin rad. Sell me it.
ОтветитьI like it…
ОтветитьSounded killer..had some bite 🧛♂️
ОтветитьI hate when quilt and flame tops are so dark that it’s hard to get the full effect
ОтветитьWow Trogly!! You’re playing has gotten so much better.Rock on man🎉🎉🎉
Great video
Well, Guardians got beat out. I’ll be back to normal watching time after tonight.
ОтветитьHow are you not going to play Bat Country???? 😫
ОтветитьShe’s gorgeous
ОтветитьBubbled areas in the laquar on an 8k guitar???? Why do people let Gibson get away with those kind of things!
Ответитьdon’t want one, i need one.
Ответитьthat neck on a trad burst would be amazing.
Ответитьtop 10 for looks !!!
ОтветитьThe inlays are so gaudy...
ОтветитьThat guitar is absolutely awesome.
Ответить💜❤️🖤
ОтветитьToo bad its not an Epiphone so could afford one
ОтветитьHmm.... Schecter 700$ Gibson 8,000$.....
Yeah
The bats need to be more menacing looking instead of goofy looking and they need to be black pearloid or some other nice material where they can be seen but not stick out so bad.
ОтветитьDoes sound good
ОтветитьGibson is so innovative! 🙄 The only thing that ever changes on their guitars, are the colors. Then the fanboys and girls, everytime a new color Les Paul comes out, they act as if Gibson has just reinvented the wheel. I will never understand the hype behind a Les Paul. I thought maybe I was missing out, by not owning one, and that since the appearance of them isnt very impressive, that maybe the hype is all in the quality and playability. So I bought a brand new black cherry Studio Pro, back in 2014. Which was the year Gibson put 120th Anniversary on the fretboards. It came in and I checked it all over good. It had several blemishes in the finish, and one of them, looked like it had been bumped against something, that chipped it, and somebody took car touchup paint, and globbed on it. Then i plugged in to my new Blackstar stereo amplifier, that i ordered with the Les Paul, because my 70's Peavey was so long in the tooth and unreliable. Well, Im the type of person who never gets rid of hardly anything. Ive got things in the back of my closet from over the years, that i got and never used, because Im such a hoarder. So it ends up in the back of the closet, and i forget about it. Saying that, I got the Les Paul in August or September, and by Christmas 2014, it was wrapped up and under a Buddy's tree, because I sold it to his wife for about $300 less than what i had just payed for it. That pretty much sums up my thoughts on Gibson. Lol
ОтветитьCool playing there Trog! Hope you're keeping that one...
ОтветитьYou found one! Let's go!
ОтветитьYou can tell this is supposed to be a display piece hung vertically on a stand, the bats on the headstock are upside down when the guitar is horizontal. Such a basic error on such an expensive piece.
ОтветитьHi, love your show! What amp / fx do you normally use for your sound demos? Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThese red and black type models are definitely my favorite, I wouldn’t try to go ‘lightening’ any either, or at least not purposely, I think it’s gorgeous just the way it is, nice playing too Trogmiester 🤟😀
ОтветитьWow congrats on finding one of these Trogly its a beautiful guitar! I love the neck on it too. It sounds fantastic and nice playing too! This ones a keeper for sure!
ОтветитьMan that’s a keeper. Looks so awesome and man what a great sounding Les Paul 😳
ОтветитьI'm assuming that the darker red top and neck are supposed to resemble blood. I like it, looks phenomenal.
ОтветитьI think thats kool as hell..love it
ОтветитьIn the interest of 'equal time' ought they make a Christmas guitar, with little baby Jesus inlays, some of the Saints and Wise Men on the headstock?
Call it the 'Del Gesu' (look it up) model!
How do you know those are custombuckers?
ОтветитьSuch a sweet looking axe!!
Ответитьscary
ОтветитьIm gonna get hate, but I wish this was straight red and black aposed to the quilt.
ОтветитьDamn Gorgeous Black Red and Chrome ..
Ответить8 grand, ... that's just really INSANE people ... should be crossed Civil War pistols on the fretboard. Yep!!! ¡¥¡
ОтветитьAmber Burst....
ОтветитьI wish they would still make them, I would buy one
ОтветитьIt sounds excellent, and the bat inlays are great — when you were playing - it looked like an ebony custom on my screen
ОтветитьLove this 2020 Bats in Flight example, I'd be happy to have this as a one and only humbucker LP, but rarely for gigging. Thanks for heads-up on 'Avenged Sevenfold', somehow missed them, even had Mike Portnoy in the band at one point!
ОтветитьHi Trogly, will you ever review the Gibson Les Paul Custom Shaggin Wagon/Superhero series? They are a very acquired taste. Like this baby! 😂
ОтветитьI am absolutely in love with this guitar. I would love to own this guitar.
ОтветитьThat purple quilt top is GORGEOUS.
ОтветитьYeah but bells & whistles dont make it play better thats just cosmetic
ОтветитьNot crazy about all the bats on the head stock. Could been a single bat perhaps???
What do I know?
The entire enterprise is kind of silly.
immediately sounds immense ❤
ОтветитьMy dream guitar. For obvious reasons
Ответить
