As a software engineer myself, this is close to how my day goes as well. Although for me after the work day is over, I kind of want nothing to do with coworkers. Not because I don't like them, but because I believe taking a break from them and spending time with my wife/family instead is much more valuable and healthy. When I game I tend to do it by myself or with friends.

How difficult is it to learn to be a software engineer, and is the job decent for someone who moves every two to three years?

Interested in this field and seeing some good and some bad. So I’m gonna just ask a question, probably not simple but just looking for a yes or no. Would you recommend getting into this field?

The thing is just that I don’t have the concentration to work really 8h a day super intensive. How much hours a day would you say that you have to work really hard?

I mean, the only reason I watch those "Day in life of software engineer" is because sveral of them are so aesthetic and to get inspo on good quality vlogging. This vlog was, not well done, the video quality/story telling is bad and boring, the music super annoying etc.

I work as a Business Analyst, but a large part of my day is developing/enhancing applications on our no code platform, and my day looks EXACTLY like this (minus the kid part haha)
