I'm trying to look past this person's Gray's Anatomy vibe. Oy.
ОтветитьHow do you make monthly and a year
ОтветитьWhere did you find that scrub hat?? I love it!!
ОтветитьI am a current highschool student researching different career paths to go down after graduation. This career has really caught my attention and seems like a potential good fit for me. To be a CRNA I know you said the hours differ but do you know if it’s possible to be a crna but not have to be on call ? I wouldn’t want crazy hours just a simple 8 hour shift lol
ОтветитьHi! I’m finishing up my bsn , already working as a rn in CVICU/ICU/MICU and will be applying to CRNA school soon hopefully! Just curious did you go to CRNA when you had your children or after !? I have a 6 year old son and that’s the only little detail about it that makes me scared , I don’t want him to resent me
ОтветитьHope you can stay awake during those carpal tunnels. The CRNA's at my hospital have it hard. They got new chairs but they didn't have a cup holder or magazine rack. Can I get you a lead apron for that C-Arm case you knew about in the morning?
ОтветитьI love these videos so much !!! You’re so inspiring 🫶 also do you have a link to your coat??
ОтветитьMy moms boyfriend is a CRNA he makes about $275k a year. They don’t just put you under their experts in airways as well. Usually when a doctor can’t get it the CRNA can.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьI am 40 years old, and I have just began my prerequisites to become an RN. My end is to become a crna. I’m hoping that it’s not too late in life for me but I remain optimistic.
ОтветитьHello! Wonderful video to be honest. It didn't feel hyper clinical; you've got a nice environment in there. It might sound wild but... I am a Frontend Developer and I am open to a career shift. I've heard CRNA can be super lucrative (200K$/year). I'm considering a fast track into the field. Do you think that is possible or there are programs suited for professionals to have an speedy transition to this type of work? Is the wage compensation as good? & The work-life balance and work-engagement; how does it feel? If feels a lot more estable and in demand to me. Frontend Development is way too volatile and stressful for me at the moment. Last issue is that I am living in Spain, Europe; and I don't know why the salaries for this role in Europe are not nearly as high... What is your best advise? Thanks a Lot!!!
ОтветитьAre you salary based? Or is it a case by case? I’m interested in CRNA. Currently in Indiana and thinking about Marian. I’m interested to know more about the work life balance. Also… what would happen if I became pregnant in CRNA school? 😅 I have an IUD but always wondered this. Would they let me graduate with the next class and take a break? Do they make you get right back to it the day after delivery like nursing school? lol
ОтветитьI’m wanting to choose this path so bad.. I’m struggling to barely get my basics done for nursing as a single mama of 3! I’m hoping I learn structure etc to push through & level up for myself & kiddos! You rock ❤️
ОтветитьDo you have to talk directly to your patients
ОтветитьHi . I come from Vietnam. I am also a nurse anesthetist like you. Can I ask for information to contact you? Can I chat and ask you about anesthesia in your country?
ОтветитьGreat personality! I also love your scrub caps. I am doing FNP program but I am feeling like it's not what I really want. Thank you for taking us with you this really helps.I don't have much OR experience, about 4 years ICU so just considering some options.
ОтветитьYou're so chill... I'm debating PMHNP or CRNA... How hard is CRNA school?
Ответитьhello congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
im 29 year old and watching this is video and want work Hospital there can help me
I love the scrub cap! Where did you get it?
ОтветитьHi!! I'm an RN with 5 yrs non-ICU experience, thanks for posting these types of videos!! I have a quick question... I'm exploring this field because I've always thought it would be interesting, but I've been intimidated as well. Why, would you say, is it that they want ICU experience? Is it more because you need the critical care knowledge (equipment, drugs, maybe mechanics of intubation/ventilator) or because the job itself has a similar dynamic to ICU bedside (rigorous charting, extremely detailed results etc.)? Or both? I would not be excited about doing ICU, but I believe I would be excited about anesthesia. Any help would be greatly appreciated, sorry for the long comment!!
ОтветитьSo i know one of the things you enjoy you said was your autonomy, but i was looking at a map where crnas practice independently and indiana wasn't one of them. (I could be completely wrong about you living in indiana but i thought you said that, lol.) So how does that work? Cause tennessee is the same way and I want to be completely autonomous. I mean i'll move to NC or something if I have to, just wondering how that works?
ОтветитьI am 27 and I'm doing some serious life changes. I think I am going to pursue nursing with an end goal of earning my CRNA I feel a little old to start such a long journey, but I don't have a large ego I just want to do something that isn't going put me in the same position as my parents and actually lets me live a life. Filling an important role while doing so isn't a bad bonus either lol.
ОтветитьDo you work on holidays too????
ОтветитьHey my names Chloe! I graduate nursing school in May and am highly interest in becoming a CNRA. I would like to job shadow a CRNA before I decide on if I want to work in the ICU. Do you have any tips on how to find job shadowing opportunities with a CRNA?
ОтветитьI see your Fendi
ОтветитьSMART AND VERY SMART.Girl i couldn't do it,hats off to you Doctor!
Ответитьdo you have to check vitals? is a stethoscope necessary for CRNA?
Ответитьnow i am a nursing student. can i become a CRNA after finishing Masters in anesthesia
?
Is there a lot of math required to become a crna?
ОтветитьLoving all your videos
ОтветитьHello, I have a question about the DNP(doctor of nursing).what they can do in the hospital?,are they same doctors, can issue own prescriptions and what is the path to be a CRNA . Please explain. Can you give me a reply please .I'm a student of studying science streem.
ОтветитьWhat do your shifts usually look like? Do you ever get these crazy long shifts like some other professions in emergency rooms or is it pretty regular?
ОтветитьStudies show that anything more than 4mg of decadron in a peripheral block does not increase density of the block. The side effects of increased blood glucose is greater than the benefit of the block. So I wouldn’t add more than 4mg in a single block.
ОтветитьGood not to use the term “my surgeon”. It’s a collaborative practice. The surgeon isn’t my boss. We work tomorrow. Also anesthesia plan is up to the CRNA. The surgeon might have a preference but the final call is the CRNAs call.
ОтветитьHello! First timer here! I love the way you explain every detail in the OR when it comes to anesthesia. I’m a nurse in the OR and hopefully some day a CRNA. Great vid and God bless!
ОтветитьHi! Where did you go for CRNA school?
ОтветитьI don’t like how much time you spend grimacing and looking in the mirror or camera. It looks very unprofessional. Cap check, coffee check. How irritating
ОтветитьIn your opinion is being a crna less stressful than icu nurse? I'm also a parent and am looking for work life balance!
ОтветитьVery nice my Doctor 🌹
Ответитьmisogynistic. That’s that word again. Is like educated women are programmed to use buzz words. One will think they will know better with all their education. SMH
ОтветитьI’m so glad I found your channel 🙏🏽
ОтветитьThank you. Yes, we are adding blocks!
ОтветитьLove your content! Showing bits and pieces of bts at your work 💉
ОтветитьLove this video, thank you for charing your life experience as a CRNA, it is so inspiring, best wishes to you and your family.
ОтветитьPreachin' to the choir sister! I am a NP and one of the main reasons for making this transition was so I could be more present with my family and not have to stress so much about things like money, time, etc. Love the balance that being an advance practice provider affords me! And spot on with the solid partner...100% the best! Thanks for the snippet of your life, looks like it was a great day!
ОтветитьThanks for you motivation ❤
ОтветитьHi Sarah I just love your channel and will definitely go follow you on Instagram. Your so inspiring and such a love of life kind of gal that I love. I just had my eye removed due to a genetic eye disorder and had put up with extreme pain in it due to 3 cornea transplants failing and the eye perforated. When I woke up they had put a block in and I felt incredible. After 3 years of horrific pain I was feeling awesome. At exactly 8 hours omg the pain was intense as soon as the block wore off wow. But to have those 8 hours gave me the courage because I hoped it would be heaps better once healed. And it has been. Best decision I have ever made. Totally pain free now and feeling like a new person. Thanks again for the great vlogs your awesome. Loads of love Leisa Western Australia xxxxxxx
ОтветитьLove nerve blocks!
I’ve had 3 caesareans and my anesthetist on my last gave me nerve blocks it was amazing and I could bond with baby much better without being drugged to the eye balls 🥰
There it is 🙌🏻! My kinda videos, thanks girly 🤗. Have a great day!
