ОтветитьIt's interesting the way british steal philosophies. I dropped this logic bomb on a philosophy forum a long time ago. In English, something you drink from is a Cup. In spanish, it's a Taza. So which is it really? A Cup or a Taza. It can't be both so the immutable truth is that it's obviously neither, and it may as well be an Aschenbecher. It exists independently of your word for it and therefore so must truth. Truth either exists independently of you and your beliefs or truth is only a consequential delusion of your own insanity. The cup is there, the cup is real, but it is not a cup. You think this is anti-intelectualism but it's instead the key you need before you can think at all. You're taught in school what basically blinds you to everything else you could see the cup for. Indoctrinated agnosia. By being taught "how it is" you become blind to everything else.
"Tap, tap" goes my ash in your cup.
The Political Left Suffers Deeply From "Inferior Virtue"
ОтветитьAnother idiot spreading false doctrine
ОтветитьThe best example I can think of for Wu Wei in everyday life is the correct way to bounce a basketball. Every little kid starts off trying to bounce a basketball by slamming it down over and over with their hand, but eventually they figure out the correct way is to let the basketball rise as far as it can with its own momentum, just touch the palm of your hand, and then you lightly push it down as it starts to fall again, giving it just a little bit more energy so it can bounce higher next time. Pretty much everyone, by adulthood, is so good at this that they don't even have to think about how to bounce a basketball correctly -- their brainstem just makes it happen automatically, from decades of practice. If you can do this in all aspects of life, that is Wu Wei.
ОтветитьWow, this speech by Alan Watts really struck a chord with me! The concept of not forcing anything (Wu-Wei) is such an important lesson to learn. It reminds me to go with the flow and trust that things will happen naturally. Thank you for sharing this powerful message!
ОтветитьAlans was and is one of the best :) <3
ОтветитьLove and kindness
ОтветитьDon’t force anything is the outcome of judging effort. Get with it technology. No more suffering. New horizon if we push it. Some win some lose. To reiterate the ending. I think we’re in pain.
ОтветитьDon't tell me, I know something really good. And so I'll ignore you absolutely repugnant normal. But your ok, just way and you'll still win but your wrong why 🎉 I'm sure of it.
ОтветитьI kinda resonate with what being said but I still have doubts, say I want to start a business isn't the winning strategy is to keep pushing get feed back and refine the product until you have something people are willing to pay for?
The only field that I'm 100% convinced not forcing is better is social interactions, the more you're not trying to be cool or perceived a certain way the more you are cool.
I come to you as a man that fell asleep while this was playing and woken up by prprprprprprprprprpPPPRPRPRPRPRP
ОтветитьSpace is f@ke.
ОтветитьComo me hace flaiar este viejo 😂

ОтветитьThis is what I’ve been doing without recently realising. He sums it up beautifully.
ОтветитьIt is shameful that underneath this kind of videos you have people talking about bitcoin.

ОтветитьI force everything and it works for me. The door would not open, I forced it open, then the world opened up to me. ❤
ОтветитьI don’t need to learn how to LOVE..Please..I’ve waisted enough of my valuable time..☮️

ОтветитьI alr proven I alot better than Edwin Teo in facing mistakes
ОтветитьI already live without Edwin is he don't face
ОтветитьThe first half of the video was informative and thought-provoking. The second half of the video went downhill in pointless meandering on worthless abstract things. Sorry, this was waste of time.
ОтветитьEverything is a fucking art. Don't pay your bills. Go homeless. Art.
Ответитьwhat is this bs?? and everyone agrees on it? no wonder the world is in the current state
ОтветитьIt's easy to wu wei when you don't have to wash your own dishes.
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful video. Alan Watts has a way of bringing so much to light by saying only what is so simple and clear.
ОтветитьPsychobabble.
ОтветитьDo you think even Alan Watts couldn't handle the reality he was trying to describe and turned to drinking booze? I don't blame him at all...
ОтветитьAgreed
ОтветитьLume.
