What's a Stock Speedrun?

The rules are very simple! From my dashboard, I'm taken to the Yahoo Finance page for a random stock (though I also take requests). This random selection process is heavily weighted towards stocks that have a lot of recent buzz on social media, as identified by the APIs offered at https://socialsentiment.io/. A timer will start in the dashboard tab and I will have 15 minutes to do whatever research I can on the stock.

During Phase 1 (first 10 minutes), I am only allowed to look at information in Yahoo Finance, as well as any articles or links I can access off that platform. During Phase 2 (last 5 minutes), the music shifts and I'm provided with a Google search page. For the remaining time, I am now allowed to use the entire internet for research.

When time is up, I'll be returned to my dashboard and need to make a decision about whether the stock is a Buy, Sell, or a Hold (with a somewhat coherent justification). Once I make a decision, we can then see what the general social media sentiment is and whether or not I ended up agreeing.
