Hi, where and how can we create app icons like this for net Maui android/ios apps?
ОтветитьI cannot get this to work. Resource not found. Has this process been changed recently?
ОтветитьWorks for android but I cant get it to work on IOS. Changed the old default "AppIcon" in assets.xcassets to "Appicons", made sure that App Icons source is AppIcon in Info.plist. Then deleted AppIcons alltogether. And still am getting the default xamarin logo as my icon.
ОтветитьThanks for the Video man :D
ОтветитьAfter I inserted the new icons, I lost my Android full-screen splash screen and it only shows the icon as a splash screen. How do I get it back?
ОтветитьThanks for video
Ответитьhow to add images in Xamarin for iOS
ОтветитьThanks
I did download the icons but for some reason I am getting :
- A value for the Info.plist key 'CFBundleIconName' is missing in the bundle 'xyz'. Apps built with iOS 11 or later SDK must supply app icons in an asset catalog and must also provide a value for this Info.plist key.
Heya how do I add these images to unity engine
ОтветитьIn general, I love your videos James, primarily because you do deep dive into the necessary details for the beginners like myself...but
After watching this video several times, and trying to change my icons on my iPhone while I am developing my app, it doesn't work as you show in your video. After a several more hours of trying and research I've come to the conclusion that you need to make the changes on a Mac -- just as you switched to a Mac in your video -- but yet nothing has been explicitly stated as so.
There are many more people like myself with the same problem and can't seem to find a solution a simple web search will confirm it.
If I am in fact correct, it would sure be nice for you to state this as a caveat for the ios icons.
I'm thinking (and hoping) that when I actually do deploy my app, the icons will somehow work.
Renaming the app icon doesn't work unfortunately, still named 'ic_launcher'. Thanks a lot for the great tutorial though, the whole topic is a bit confusing and that made it easier.
ОтветитьNo fillers, full value, to the point and crisp. Classic James. Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьI’ve been putting off changing one of my app icons... I guess I have no excuse now!
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьI just followed along with this and on iOS, the new app icon shows up fine in visual studio, but not when deployed to the phone. I'm using a windows machine and hot reload right now, is that an issue? In the video James swaps over to a mac to do that deploy.
ОтветитьWow this is amazing
ОтветитьQuick question. How you put video on top of screen shear? Or you put this after ?
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьAwesome ... how am I supposed to change the graphic for the splash screen on iOS with this in mind
"The iOS Designer was deprecated in Visual Studio 2019 version 16.8 and Visual Studio 2019 for Mac version 8.8, and removed in Visual Studio 2019 version 16.9 and Visual Studio for Mac version 8.9. The recommended way to build iOS user interfaces is directly on a Mac running Xcode. F" ?
Thanks for the vídeo 👏
ОтветитьYou should have shown this 1 year back.
Ответить⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьCool , going to give it a try . Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьAlways on point thanks james i love the shorts.
ОтветитьKeep it up James
