Fantastic presentation. I feel like this is something I’d see on the history channel talking about real events and battles.

It's a shame that Tywin Lannister and his armies stayed neutral for nearly the entire war but made sense because the Mad King had his son Jaime Lannister as both his bodyguard and hostage. At least he joined Robert's side at the end by marching on King's Landing, sacking the city, and wiping out the Mad King's entire family and bloodline.

Just imagine how much more badass this war and battle would've been had the Lannisters had fought alongside Robert, Stark, and the rebels.

In my CK2 game, playing as Rhaegal, Kingslanding was breached , Grandmaster Pycell killed my father the Mad King in cold blood instead of Jimie Lannister.

I gathered my host to meet Robert who occupied Kingslanding, during the battle, Robert meets me in battle, challenges me to single combat, I let my Kingsguard Lewyn Martell fight for me.
Robert slaughtered him, and pressed on towards me. I thought it was all over, but the Dragon Prince prevailed against the tide of history kill，killed Robert , captured Stannis and the rebellion was over.

That was an epic game.

I know I’m not the only one to say this. The fact that this sounds so much like real history it’s crazy. I know it’s based off house Lancaster and York but so many characters and everything it’s just nuts.

This goes to show how honorable of a man Eddard was. Anyone else would probably had the Sword of The Mourning melted and smithed into something new for their own.

While I enjoyed the battlefields and details of the fighting, I don’t know how I feel about the fact that this video got so many details of the lore wrong.

Barring different pronounciations and the fact that sometimes people with the same name can be confusing to distinguish, some of the errors are so mind boggling that I have to wonder if they bothered to research anything significant other that battle details. One or two could be overlooked, but details that are well known and are sometimes the first thing you can find in a google search really turns this well made video into a real disappointment.

This should have been the pre-qual for the game of thrones universe not the house of dragons but it can't be cause all the protagonist are men and the studio wants to give message about feminism it figures frig off films...

Should be noted everyone said if Tywin was hand of the king and leading the army. Robert would have been killed and the rebellion crushed. He wouldn’t have wasted time like John did, he would have put the entire Stoney Sept to the torch and been done with it

Rahegar was a good swordsman but he never was peerless Barisatn Selmy said it himself there were many in Westores who could have easily defeated him and many more who would have proved very hard to beat Barristan Selmy Jaime Lanister Arthur Dayne Gerold Hightower Red Viper of Dorne the Mountain The Hound all could have defeated Rhaegar while man like Victarion Greyjoy Jason Mallister Blackfish Tully Great Jon Umber all would be very difficult to beat

The rebels had many more competent commanders than the Royalist Namely Ned Stark Robert Jon Arryn Hoster Tully his brother the Blackfish Yohn Royce Lord Jason Mallister Ser Corbay who had a Valayrian steel sword who killed Doran Martell's brother who was also a kingsgurad leading the Dornish Contingent of the Royalist Army etc
