Man had a quartz metronome in his brain and the chart hasn't been created for his musical I-Q.... heard it said once...."Heaven's gotta Hell of a Band".... I can only say "Amen"!!
ОтветитьYou have to say that Ginger Baker was formerly a jazz drummer when he started out with Graham Bond & His Organisation back in 1963. However! you can tell that there was alot of Buddy Rich influence during that great solo. To bad that Jack Bruce wasn't there on the stage along with Eric Clapton that nite. Johnny Montreal Canada 🇨🇦 ❤.
ОтветитьWow! Watching this made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Sensational drunming by a sensational drummer.
ОтветитьGinger Baker. He was my favorite when he played with Cream.
ОтветитьIt's amazing how music can transform people. Ginger was already a gentleman, at an advanced age and even so, he managed to perform an incredible performance with technique, energy and absolute mastery of the instrument. It is no wonder that he is considered one of the greatest drummers in history.
ОтветитьThis solo is a lesson in drum mastery!
ОтветитьEsse solo é uma aula de domínio dos tambores!
ОтветитьGreat set! Amazing to think he was 76. I want to know what kind of vitamins he takes....
ОтветитьA true master of space and time. Rest in Power, GB.
ОтветитьOne of the best drummers In the world rip Ginger baker
Can I can't forget buddy guy rip
What can you say? Cream ALWAYS rises to the top.
ОтветитьThere's not been too many drummers who have commanded this sort of (well deserved) respect ... awesome!
ОтветитьI loved GB when I was young and seeing him in concert. After I was forced by my drum teacher to play jazz, I came to realize that he was no Buddy Rich. Still the best by rock standards.
ОтветитьGo on lad. beat those leather small. Greetings from Lagos Nigeria. Remember
ОтветитьIncredible comraderie those three & that Baker solo was something that he probably played on a daily basis.
I'm 66 years old and I've been playing drums since the 6th grade. Ginger Baker has always been my favorite.
It was a sad day when he left us. Oh and by the way Clapton is God
Wow!!! At some parts of that solo his arms were going supersonic!
Ответитьthis was done in 2005 so that would make him 66
ОтветитьHow he made the drums talk. African rhythm
Ответить😮bravo!!unbelievable for an 80 yr old guy.
ОтветитьI saw Ginger in, I think, 94. The band he was with opened for Alice in Chains, at the Shrine Mas in Springfield, MO. He had a cigarette in his mouth the entire time he played.
Also, that night, the lead singer Layne Staley of Alice in Chains OD'd on heroin. He did not die that night, but he did OD. They only played 3 songs, and the show was over.
Mi sobrinito de 10 añitos toca mil veces mejor q ese viejo meonnn
Ответить드럼의 마왕 진져베이커

Ответитьsmh...WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE TRY TO SHOW AN EXAMPLE OF HOW GREAT A DRUMMER IS WHEN THE DRUMMER IS IN THEIR LAST YEARS OF LIFE?????? iT'S THE STUPIDEST SHIT EVER..There's plenty of footage or recordings of Ginger playing...As a drummer for 47 years; it's infuriating! The drummer I am today is a pale shadow of the drummer I was 30 years ago...
ОтветитьHyde Park was bettere?
Ответитьthere is no comparison, to Ginger on Drums! None!
ОтветитьFabulous Ginger. What a pleasure listening to it. Many thanks for sharing your talent. England, January, 2024.
ОтветитьNo wonder he's so skinny, 30 minutes of that everyday and your metabolism is on fire.
Ответитьbesser! machen!! leute,Leute kann das wirklich spaß machen? drei der allergrößten niederzuwalzen ?? fatzkes😡
ОтветитьI cannot stand him
Ответитьtime & place?
ОтветитьTen minutes? Awesome but to long for a drum solo.
ОтветитьBeware Mr. Baker
ОтветитьGinger Baker!!!!!
ОтветитьGinger Baker, one of the best drummers of all time. Playing what of right now on here.
ОтветитьElements of Ginger reminds me of Steve Gadd. There isn't sufficient...room or potential in rock music for any 'straght-rock' drummer to ever qualify as being 'great' (despite the claims made for Bonzo, who routinely failing technically and musically in both performance and in the studio, but still receives and undue amount of love and credit just because he was in Zeppelin). Ginger is great because he is 'more' than rock admits. I always understood the love for Ginger because of his state of play, but can't find sufficient musical or technical purchase to get behind Bonham, despite my appreciation of Zeppelin. If JPJ hadn't been such an astute and musical bass player, it is doubtful that Bonham would have showed so well and weathered due criticism with so few scars.
Ответитьyassssss Ginger!!!
ОтветитьLove me some Ginger Baker
ОтветитьBrilliant, but nowhere near the sadly departed Professor
ОтветитьHands down the most incredible percussionists ever. Just one drummers opinion 🥁
ОтветитьCandonble jazz africa
ОтветитьWhat happened to the rest of the band?
ОтветитьFu@@ing awesome! Ginger baker is the no.1 drummer all time. The king!
ОтветитьAwful.
ОтветитьSuperb drum solo by probably the best ever master of the skins respect mr baker
Ответитьsaw Cream when they were fresh, 1970
ОтветитьAmazing. Ginger has a boat that looks and plays like a drum kit. He's definably not a beginner.
ОтветитьI saw/heard Ginger Baker in El Paso TX while I was desert training in the Army. Got a weekend off and stayed in the city. I have never heard a drummer like him. Those african rhythms he mastered in my opinion is extraordinary. Being the best is a subjective statement I know; however, for me, he was the best percussionist I have ever heard and definitly seen in my life.
BTW: In a solo he can hold the time all the way through which is rare in drum solos.
Ginger Baker is greater even then Frank Beard or Keith Moon!
ОтветитьMarvelous! Way to play Ginger! 🥁
