It is easier to use soldering iron, it will avoid overheating the PCB, and also hot air can damage other components around due to high temperature. by the way what is the brand and model of the camera you use to make this film? I really liked the quality of the images.

Same t-con board that the Roku On 100012585 uses. The screen I have does not have the problem your screen had but rather the problem of vertical lines. Where is the problem remains the question? T-con board?
