Good video. Good reviews for the higher end price range. But i feel like you didnt put enough care for the lower end prices ranges and it shows. Left out a few of the very best sub 500 picks and the statement you will go through a body every couple of years seems to reinforce that idea those lower price points arnt worth it when they are. Good buying guy for the high budgets and no budget people. Not very helpful for those tight budget people out there.
ОтветитьHi, im Nikon user from 20yrs, but Fujifilm with this romantic vision of photography, I just fall in love. Come in time I want to buy one for me aswall. Not gonna change system, Fuji will be more like another camera, I just curious, and wanna join to this Fuji club ;)
That what I found, second hand:
X-T 2 for 400£
X-T3 650£
What i should buy? Is it worth to pay this extra 250 for T3 ? Or just keep it simple and cheap, because there are no much difference?
Thanks 😊
I know there was and still is a lot of made in Japan vs. China and Philippines when it comes to Fuji gear but Andrew’s poor experience with the X-T2 (made in Japan) vs. his positive experience with the X-T3 (made in China) shows that when it comes to construction quality, it doesn’t matter where the equipment is made. There will be hits and misses no matter where your gear is manufactured in. So unless you have moral issues, there aren’t practical reasons why country of origin, manufacturing or assembly matters.
ОтветитьHello.. I wanna ask if you recommend to me to buy for Fujifilm X-T3, X-T30, X-T200 what should my self concider to buy. Have a lot fokus on photography rather video shot... On money I have bit picky but if it worth to buy let me know, thank you
ОтветитьNONE! Buy a NIKON!!!!! Faaaaaarrr better!!!!
ОтветитьI started my journey with Fujifilm with an X-T200, almost by accident as it was a Black Friday special that really caught my eye and I had read positive things about it. One of the biggest things I can say for it as a recommendation is that the X-T200 has been an outstanding bridge device for someone that was mostly shooting photos with their PHONE rather than another camera. A lot of the meat of the device is actually in its screen and the software behind it as it was designed with a lot of touch controls in mind and I found it to be a very intuitive camera to use that allowed me to gradually get more confident with the more manual controls and customizing the various buttons and wheels to better match the more technical Fuji cameras. I've been really satisfied with it as a learner camera and what's REALLY cool is all the lenses I've collected for it now transfer to the higher end cameras I've moved onto since which is a feature that never occured to me when I first bought it.
Despite it being less used I still keep it around as a travel camera, and while I've cannibalized all the other lenses I have a TTartisans 27mm lens that stays attached to it for 90% of situations but knowing I COULD strap the same 16mm lens I love using helps me justify keeping it around.
I'm really new in photography world, but my first camera is film camera because my grandpa has fujica and I'm lucky to use that for one year, then decide to buy digital camera because the film and its development price is expensive.
I didn't really know what to buy and my budget is not big, when I see a Fujifilm camera and they say it has a film simulation, I think I'll give it a try. So my first digital camera is Fujifilm Xt30ii, after one year I can say I'm comfortable with it.
Fantastic overview, thank you so much Andrew! It’s great to hear your selection of relevant facts rather than having to plow through spec sheets and then reviews to find some more practical observations that people have made.
ОтветитьIf I had discovered your video earlier, I could have saved myself a lot of other videos. Now it is much clearer to me which camera is the ideal one for my plans and that is the x- t30.
ОтветитьI'm waiting for a used X-A5 to arrive in the mail. Together with a lightly used kit lens it cost 400€. I'm quite excited :)
Ответитьi need an honest review between xt10 and xe3, they are in the same price range
Ответитьi hate that plipli screen.
manufacturer should know that not everyone is narcissistic personality disorder.
the xt3 screen is the best
I've had and continue to use my 5D Mark II professional for now 15 years! Every couple years is such a wild concept to me!
ОтветитьIdk I’m kinda married to my 5D mk 2 im gonna keep it even after it’s last shutter
ОтветитьMan, X10 should be on the list of under $500.
X10 is probably one of the best compact premium Fuji has ever created, even until today, it's my favorite compact camera, it may be over 10 years old, but it's a gem.
Hey guys, which camera is an upgrade to a X-T1?
ОтветитьI bought the Sony A7iv
3 months later I fallen in love with Fujifilm
When I bought the A7iv I was in other mind set
I want so bad a Fuji
I wanna save some money to buy a Fuji
Like a x100v
But I’m afraid for stop using my Sony
🥲
I own X-T2 for about 6 years now its reliable its still working fine, if i want to get a new camera it would be X100 series because of the size and how minimal it is
ОтветитьHey Andrew. I am thinking of buying a fujifilm camera but i don't know which one is the best for me. The reason i want a fujifilm camera is because of the film simulation their cameras have. The fujifilm x100v seems like the perfect camera with everything i want but it is a little out of budget. Do you have any recomendations?
ОтветитьI wish I watch this video before I bought my first fuji camera lmao
I bought X-A5 with kit lens, because I just have enough money to spend on that camera. I was a phone photographer, and I think X-A5, or any X-A series, is pretty good for people who use their phone to finally upgrade to proper camera. I love my X-A5, and I love it even more with my tele lens, 50-230. It suits my style, and I enjoy using it every time. If I do have another money to spend on, I wish I could upgrade to XT series.
How about Xs10? 🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьIt is important for pro panoramic photography that the tripod mount is Not off-set.
Please state or show the location of the tripod mount
Got the X Pro3 since I learned on analog photog and didn’t want the distraction of screens.
Always take it with me in case I find something to shoot!
Absolutely love it!
Very informational video! One of the most cohesive Fuji camera videos I’ve seen.
ОтветитьI decided to buy the XT30 II after weeks of consideration as my very first camera and your video helped so much! May I ask which lens you would advise for the start? The camera comes in two "Kits", one with the XC 15-45 mm lens and one with the 18-55mm. I would love to use the camera for my upcoming trip to England to shoot villages, houses, streets, churches, the beach. As I am just starting, I don't want to switch lenses all the time. I was recommended to go with the 18-55mm (but they did not have the kit with the 15-45mm in stock :-)). Do you think the 15-45mm would be ok to start or would I never forgive myself afterwards for missing the "better" option 18-55mm? Or would you recommend any other lens over the two mentioned above?
Any advise would be so much appreciated! Thank you!
all of them
ОтветитьFUJI,KONIKA,YASHICA ALL BEST JAPANESE BRANDS.
ОтветитьI realize this is an old video but would you still recommend the xt-20 as a good entry into the FujiFilm system? The x100v is unobtainable right now as well as the ex-4. Thanks and Happy New Year.
ОтветитьXPro3 is my first camera and I can’t say how grateful I am to have a hidden screen and hybrid view finder. I have become quicker at observing and shooting without the distraction of a screen.
ОтветитьI continued watching and see (hear) the music has now disappeared, so I maybe reacted negatively too quickly. So, all in all, an articulate and professional presentation.
Ответитьthis is very very good guide video, it helps alot. Thank you very much for the video bro
Ответить100F and V are more like 40mm equivalent, I think. 1.5 x 27 = 40mm
ОтветитьSony a6400 for my main street & travel photography and trying to get an X70 for my pocket camera
ОтветитьNo, I haven't decided yet.
ОтветитьX10 user superb camera real easy to use no carrying a big bag of junk no contest. If you cant take a decent photo with the X10 your in the wrong job.
Ответитьi wish i had money for a camera in general
ОтветитьThank you very much for this great video. I tend to be an advocate of older Fujifilm cameras. I have reviewed many of them and concluded that they are all great options in their own right. Some of my favorite cameras have been 16 Mpix X-Trans II cameras. Cameras don't have to be new and expensive for their owner enjoy photography.
ОтветитьAndrew, you said, generally, that if you spend a couple hundred dollars more to purchase a better body, that extra money directly transfer into the shooter taking home a more usable/quality shots. Is that really all it is? (The benefit to spending more, at a certain point). Especially for a non-pro, part timer who like nice gear? Thanks, you're the man!
ОтветитьI’ve had a different one each year in all honesty I can’t tell much difference in the results from 2016 to now Xm1 XE1 XT1 XPRO 1 and 2 XT 2 XT 20 now a XE 3 some I’ve had 2 of thinking I made a mistake and going back to one I’ve used before . I always buy used and XT 4 is way out of my budget , anyone buying any of them will be happy with the photos unless your over obsessed with pixel peeping and over cropping and want the latest spec and gadgets
ОтветитьI am getting an xt 4 finally. Had to break my bank but I have been craving it for over an year. Been fan of mc and acros and I am never going to sell it. Not this life.
ОтветитьI really love fuji color science due to their film color but their price i can purchase a full frame camera
Ответитьit's been 2 years, prices for both x-t4 and x-t3 haven't changed and I still can't decide wether I would prefer ibis+ newer camera even with the flip or that lovely tilt screen but on an older, discontinued and without ibis x-t3. help.
ОтветитьRemovable lens is better, you can still stick with one lens but if you get dust on your sensor you can clean it. I have had a few fixed lens cameras and always got dust on the sensors, pain in the arse to send away for cleaning, they have to strip the whole camera, XT or Xpro are the way to go.
ОтветитьWay back in 2016?????,
ОтветитьI’ve got XT1 for £140… bargain
Ответитьmasterclass
ОтветитьIt's a camera, not a device.
ОтветитьExcellent video . I have a XT-10 from 2013 . I shoot mostly street photography and for me it's given me very nice images . The build quality could have been better but on the other hand it's entry level and in my case affordable . The next camera that I buy will almost certainly be a Fuji .
