love those mondeo st,been looking at a few but some not in the best condition.

Depending on the MOT tester he will pull you up with the lights. The later ones are missing a reflector as they put them on the lower bumper in the later models instead of the lights. . I kept a pack of £5 Halfords stick on reflectors in the glovebox and my local one would pass it with them there.

Are those private plates or was it just coincidence that you got the same reg other than year.

definitely prefer the old style. when I owned a Mondeo LX both new style light clusters were knackered so I changed both out for old style ones. looks loads better.

Wish I'd known you were replacing those .....could have got you a set INCLUDING postage for about £20 ! Never mind, now, to make YOUR car look as good as the "old fellas" get Ur little bruvver to spray it the same colour blue, that silver's oh so boring 😱😱😱😱😱

Excellent fixes for sure. However, you should have just removed your dad's tail lights and put them on yours. Then see how long before he notices the change. After that you can sell him your new lenses. I am sure he will thank you for your kindness.

Prefer the new back lights make it looks abit more modern,looked a doddle to change aswell

I'm happy to see Scrap It Man bought a gasket kit for the engine. This car looks like it's getting a full service. I'm sure it'll pass the MOT once it's ready.

I like the new lights over the mostly red ones they go with the grey paint well.

The new rear lights look much better. All you need to make them mot legal is the reflector that goes in the rear bumper at each side which is simple job of removing the old insert and replacing with the new one

Going to change my rear headlights over tomorrow, great video.

I swapped out my rear light units for those ones with the chrome strips and they look better than the red. I had no issues with them for the mot and my Mondeo is just the zetec model.
