He DOES KNOW what Egbert did for which he has to atone? I always asumed it was a running gag which would either never be revealed or made up on the spot.
also I kinda thought if he left dragon d'or and founded his own religion he would just reset his atonement.

When they first introduced La Vache Mauve, all I could hear was Depeche Mode.

Mike was in the first episode in spirit. The villain of the adventure was M Chanel.

Mike comes off normally as so goofy and spontaneous, its cool to see how lucid and thoughtful he is behind the character!

One thing I wish they brought up was the topic of how Egbert is... kind of terrible at being a paladin =w= I guess it wouldn't make for a very interesting in-game Champion. Egbert almost never uses his magic - the times where it might be helpful, he forgets he has it, with special mentions going to Misty Step (basically a 30-feet teleport, and could have solved so many puzzles). When Johnny throws him a chance to use his holy symbol, he'd sooner pull out a bomb :| It is REALLY funny going back through the podcasts and hearing Andy constantly roast him for it =w=

Actually, the biggest shame is that he forgets he has Divine Smite, which lets you spend spell slots to roll additional radiant damage dice. The problem being that it calls for a melee attack, which the bombs wouldn't qualify for. Admittedly, while it would work with his mace, the risk of suddenly being transformed into a monkey or a gnat or a sentient stalactite that still feels pain (guess which one of these is canon) is probably more threatening

I can't belive Mike has never eaten a scotch egg.

I heard Eggbert's allegiance and "oats;" now I want to make a peasant Paladin who spent years farming grain and making the best bread and beer ever. He should probably worship the super cow in the sky as well
