I remember watching this when I was about 9-10 years old. I probably shouldn't have been watching this that young. Its still a very interesting fantasy story.

I kept wondering what was wrong with the dialogue and the acting, then I read the comments and realized it was made for TV. Such a great idea and yet, it is still putting me to sleep. Don't they have a different score? All TV drama simply cannot use the exact same music, please!!!

I don't mean to be harsh but it will sound that way... I enjoyed the series and was sad when it was cancelled but I believe the biggest issue was Craig just was not Richard. He's a fine enough actor and seems like a wonderful person in rl. However, as a book reader, I spent every episode thinking to myself "ya that's not Richard". Talked to many fans at the time and most felt similarly. I know some people thought the two leads had chemistry but I didn't feel it, Craig just didn't have the gravitas/bearing for the role. Truly believe if a better casting had been done for Richard, the show would have lasted longer.
