Azerbaycan people called themselves Azerbaycanlı Azerbaijani not Azeri. Azeri is another etnicity living in north Iran that are not Turkic.

actually you are wrong about Pomaks. Pomaks are Turkified Slavs. Bulgarian Turks are bulgarian turks. pomaks were slavs lived among Turks in Bulgaria so that they transferred their langs, religion and culture to turkic one. They are not muhacir. Muhacirs are mostly former Yugoslavian Turks migrated to Anatolia. Also Bosnians migrated to Turkey escaping from dictator Tito the king of Yugoslavia are called as muhacir.
