I'm so grateful that the Lord restored the doctrine of Temples, the Priesthood authority to perform binding ordinances therein, and that He has provided (and continues to provide) so many Temples around the world to give as many of God's children as possible the opportunity to come, make covenants, and receive wonderful blessings.

Sadly, Jesus prophesied the destruction of temple. And it occurred after his death to fulfill the prophesy. Temples only purpose to was to house the Lord and offer him the animal sacrifice/ burnt offering. Jesus said “not even one stone will remain.” And Jesus and Daniel 9 prophesy after the temple is destroyed, one will come in it’s place that is the “desolation of abomination.” I would not attend temple ceremonies because of this.

No cross anywhere. But pop over to St. Peter's Basilica and there's a cross on the dome. How come? How come there's a cross on every Catholic church, and NOT ONE CROSS on any Mormon house of prayer? Because the LDS is scandalized by the cross, like every other false religion. And to have this temple in such close proximity to the Holy See is alarming.

why do you call the house of the lord as temple rather the universal name Church as taught by our Lord I am very sorry to say
it has bad meaning since i come from other religion so please call it as church rather than temple otherwise it is OK

The Mormon church would have you believe you are a child of God by default, simply by being a human being. We are all God's creations, made in His image, and God loves us as such, but being a child of God is by His grace. None of us are deserving of God's favour, let alone to be counted as His child. Praise be to God that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die to atone for our sins and make those who believe in Him perfect in His sight.

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them." Exodus 20:4-5

A church claiming to be the only true church on the face of the earth (in this case the LDS church) ought not to be violating the Second Commandment of God by depicting Christ, who is God in the flesh, in a statue or painting.

I'm sure, humble Jesus would be proud of such an opulent temple built in his name, as much as he would be proud of the wars and killings done under his name. How did your interpretate the house and life of a humble prophet, friend tod the carpenter and fisherman as these huge insults to poverty?

Beautiful video, beautiful organization, beautiful and well trimmed people, PERFECT! However, they serve a christ that CAN NOT SAVE!! The contradictions between LDS Church and the Word of God are countless! Jesus Christ, according to the Bible, said 3 little words before He died for us: "IT IS FINISHED" LDS people are genuinely good people and very zealous about their religion, but they are serving a god that CANNOT SAVE!
