ОтветитьIf you don't melt the butter, but you use soft butter, it's a lot easier to put under the skin and then it melts as it cooks.
ОтветитьThis is a great recipe, but I always use food-grade disposable gloves when I handle raw poultry

ОтветитьNo turning the chicken makes it nice and easy. Question: ok, you let it rest for 20mins? won't the veg and chicken not be plate hot by that point?
ОтветитьChicken livers wrapped in bacon crisped under the broiler🍻
ОтветитьThe gizzards are my jam 😂!
ОтветитьAghast at chicken livers? Who dat? Chop them up (or even mash them) and put them under the skin with the herbs!
ОтветитьNice job
ОтветитьOh My goodness this was amazing, so juicy it was falling off the bone as I tried to cut it!
I didn’t have tarragon so I use thyme and rosemary under the skin as well as in the bird. This is the first time I roasted a chicken, I will definitely look for the tarragon next time would like to try it that way as well

ОтветитьChicken liver is delicious if properly cooked, and there are various good methods. Unfortunately, here in the South, they are most commonly fried into dark, tough lumps.
