Crazy watching this after hurricane Ian hit us and listening to them talk about Charley. We may need a newer video.
ОтветитьI wonder how this area looks now after Ian?
ОтветитьAnything south of Tampa is a huge retirement destination...for wealthy retired couples who enjoy the Air-conditioned lifestyle.
Ответитьthe city is small and beautiful just wasn't too much to do so, I move to Hallandale Beach its beautifully city and the restaurants and places is amazing they just need a pier on the beach and the fishing would be great there.
Ответитьlooks like an amazing place to live
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this video, my son lives 14459 River Beach Drive in Port Charlotte, the condo apartments are or were called Tarpon Bay, they are 2 stories & underneath it's all a parking area for the tenants, have you heard anything about that area at all, i would appreciate any info, that you might have, thank you very much & i hope your home was spared.
ОтветитьIt does look like that anymore after Ian
ОтветитьLive in North Port ridding out IAN in Stuart FL, please enjoy this video... these areas will NEVER look like this again.
ОтветитьIan worse than Charlie? Any specifics as to areas hit especially hard? Any thoughts you'd like to add?
ОтветитьIf I was to move from Honolulu too crowded
I would move to both Carolina or Florida , screw California escape to the desert or beach with a long long drive. LOL No thank you beside the demo rules, you just can't beat the 79s-80s atmosphere and that the other side. But watchout for this hurricane
Long history of potentially poisonous municipal water. Many radioactive - cancer, dementia causing elements, toxins and poisons in it they just quit testing for and naming them. Total dissolved solids off the charts. Recently has had hexavalent chromium, molybdenum, strontium, vanadium the same stuffs that killed so many. They put Cr(VI) and others on unregulated list and stopped testing for it and many of the other poisons (aluminum=alzheimer's), arsenic, etc in the water that they do name or test for anymore DRINK/BATHE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Latest big business in area is dialysis and cancer centers. Shame because there's so much $$ in area and they won't provide safe water.
ОтветитьLiving in a house where the backyard is waterfront to a canal or even the coast, is a privilege that expands by a lot the possibilities and life quality❣️🤯
ОтветитьGreat video…are the people nice in Port Charlotte and is there much crime?
ОтветитьYou are really skilled with the drone and editing is superb. Learned a lot about the area close to where I will be living in Nokomis, next year! Really excellent and detailed commentary. Thank you.
ОтветитьSORRY THOSE ARE PALM TREES NOT OAK GTREES
ОтветитьTakes me back to when my parents lived in Punta Gorda at eagle point park I lived in Fort Laud but kept my boat at their place as you just cant beat Charlotte harbor i cruised up and down the ICW and had so much fun then came Charlie.Any way coming down April 2 to relive all the great memories.
ОтветитьThis is where I lived 34 years!!!! Go back???
ОтветитьNorth Port is a great place to bring your family! Easy Access to the beach and the great food make North Port truly one-of-a-kind!
ОтветитьEnjoy your videos - any links to the music by chance?
Thanks very much.
Thank-you. New subscriber.
ОтветитьI'm so surprised punta gorda doesn't have more like Naples, Sarasota, and Venice.
ОтветитьLooking for the place in Florida so I can move there in the next few year. This video just want to make me love they're right now 😍. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful
ОтветитьProbably the best bet in florida these days, value-wise. Another nice video!
ОтветитьLive here for 18 years, can't wait to sell and get out!
ОтветитьAnother fabulous video by Tampa Aerial Media! I can’t wait to get down there for a week or more.
Ответитьdieser ständige bildwechsel nervt
ОтветитьI'm looking to start a new life at 50" down south and I'm leaning towards Florida,
thank you for a great video, cheers from Montreal Quebec Canada.
North Port flooded now for days, commissioners talking about drinking your own reprocessed sewage for quantified scarcity of future water resources. Keep on sprawl developing guys! Get that tax money!
ОтветитьNice informative video. Would have been better with softer background music. I had to keep changing the volume level when the narrator began to speak. Also, the music was very monotonous.
ОтветитьI recommend this place I love it ❤️😍😍
ОтветитьI miss living there
ОтветитьWow..this is again so different.....a slower pace of life here methinks....great reporting as usual...you have a unique style..
ОтветитьI almost moved to Englewood in 2014, but something held me back. My son worked the ER at a hospital in Port Charlotte and what he told me made me think twice about what it would be like if I had to go to the ER. I'm glad I missed Charlie.
Ответитьgrew up in pc and graduated from port charlotte high school. now im living in boring north carolina. i miss this place so much!!!!
ОтветитьI'm a born resident. And all the residents here don't want any of you to come here. 😃 good day now!
ОтветитьBorn at St. Josephs Hospital 1986. <3
I remember clearing streets with my dad's chainsaw after Charlie.
Still here, printing newspapers. I like I my hometown.
And it's pronounced LASHLY, not LASHELY. Just ask them. Lol.
I lived there from 1968 to 1983. It was my Home. Charlie blew my Moms House down . It was so sad because she and her husband put some much care and love in to it and all of a sudden it was gone. I now live in Las Vegas and it is no picnic. Not so much humidity, but 120 degrees plus heat sometimes, Monsoon System is the worst. I was a Land Surveyor there, so I know. Trade off that's all. Florida's bugs, snakes, flying cockroaches', no see ems, love bugs and sand spurs , humidity are not missed. Lemon Bay was my favorite.
ОтветитьI live here. It's such a good feeling seeing this because you're like: hey, i know that place, I've been there. Such a good video.
ОтветитьAwesome drone footage, great video
ОтветитьThis is my home town...and I was really excited to hear you call Blind Pass Beach "middle beach." I never even knew what the name of middle beach actually was until I was well into my 20s. I just always called it middle beach.
ОтветитьMy mom just moved to South Gulf Cove in May of 2020. I'm visiting her for the first time next week and happened to stumble upon this video. Dude.. incredible content, excellent video. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьGrew up in Port Charlotte. It has grown so much for the better. Moved to Central Florida 35 yrs ago & love it here.
ОтветитьBeen here in Port Charlotte for 8 years from Ohio. Love the area. Close to shopping and lots of outdoor sports to do.
ОтветитьI lived there and left. What a dumbass move on my part.
ОтветитьDon't forget about all the meth heads that call Charlotte county home.
ОтветитьI love bocci! This place is getting ruined from to many people. I use to love it there. The locals are great. More fun once the snow birds are gone!
ОтветитьThat's my neck of the woods. Thanks for the Aerial view. I remember growing up in North Port around 1972 there were only a few thousand there. Then they put in The Jockey Club, Country club and it grew. Now it's grown way bigger in population.
ОтветитьGrandparents were in Englewood for a long time so I spent a bit in this area. Loved it
ОтветитьMoved from Canada first to St. Petersburg, Florida and then we found this area. All I have to say is please remove this video ASAP so nobody else learns about this part of the Sunshine State!
ОтветитьMy aunt and uncle passed away in 2015, One of the last times I saw them was hanging out with them in port Charlotte and it was one of the best days of my life!
