Can you do a video on the pro version I just switched from Updraft Premium to Wpvivid Pro but this UI is a mess finding it very difficult to use

I LOVE WPVivid. It is the best plugin. Perfect backups no matter how complex the site. All kinds of features with the pro edition and the free version is also feature rich.

thank you for the video.. its just the problem never been about the backup ... there are many sulations for backup ... the problem always come when you try to restore a backup ... into the same website or even migrate into another domain

for example about cloudways ... no useful for the backup outside cloudways ...

for wpvivid ... for me its the best wp plugin but i faced many problem with the restore ... specially many of my clients start with shared hosting and most have cpanel ..... then try to get VPS and install cyberpanel or anyother panel of even with cpanel ....here is always the point and problems came ... i contacted wpvivid support many times about this and they have many bugs with the restoring proccess .. most the bugs because of database .. and they are not doing any improvment in this ....

the best soluation for the back is manual backup from the panel itself and the database .... all other sulations still poor and buggy

Does anyone know if the files of the previous backups are deleted in the mode "schedule" or increment? or does it always creates a new additional backup? (Would be interesting for large websites: there vivid creates always multiple files for one backup. is the question: - if it would always create a new one - if you see then through there or the vivid software when restoring...)

Sadly, wpvivid still doesnt support backups to nextclouds :(....it would be so great if you can make a video how to make a nightly, automatic restore to a staging site.

What if restoring from backup fails? Then you have wiped your original with a failing backup? And you do restore into a subdomain and if that works, copy it across to root? Last question: What are your thoughts on backup and restore work through Softaculous?

I have only ever needed to restore a site once and i used server backup from cloudways. However i always have 3 levels of back up incase one fails. I used server level, WP vivid sent to remote storage and before updates i take a manual WP all in one back up and export it.

Hello Paul, have you seen the fundamental issue with the autobackup with the latest version of wpvivid pro. Not storing the database, not giving the option to store rollback in the cloud.

WPVidid Pro Destroyed The Rollback Automatic Backup
Hey Everyone,

I wanted to inform anyone using WPVvid Pro for their backup solution on their websites that WPVivid changed the Rollback for automatic backups during updates.

The Rollback only backs up the folder of the plugin or theme and not the database during an update. This also includes WP core files, which you now have to manually select in the new Rollback tab if you want WP Core backed up during an update. Also, the files will only back up locally and will no longer be uploaded to cloud storage, should you have set this up for your backups.

I opened a ticket in their support and explained to them as to why not backing up the database during an update does not help when trying to recover from a Rollback due to the fact that plugins, themes, and WP core make changes to the database during an update and simply recovering the files will not return the website back the way it was prior to ding the update. Support replied to me stating, "The rollback backup no longer includes the database backup. Therefore, it is advisable to generate a manual backup or a database snapshot prior to updating specific plugins."

Needless to say, this is not IMO best practice when doing a backup during an update, which makes this Rollback feature useless and does not provide any real automatic backup during an update.

if you are with pcloud they have their own plugin.

UpdraftPlus is another good plugin.

Paul, do you know if you pick both files and DB for backup, can you restore them separately? Meaning if I do a backup of both together, can I turn around and only restore the files or only restore the DB?
