i wonder if they were zoroastrians but the text was changed to reflect the change in the name of their priests. along with the fact that when it was written it could have just been from memory of joseph and mary or whoever and then described the priest and used the word they personally would call them. very uneducated ideas here i’m just speculating

the story of jesus and the clay birds is also in the same “book” as him killing a play mate and then bringing him back from the dead lmaoo. the fact that the quran took it from a gnostic gospel is very interesting

I've been reading the Travels of Marco Polo and its interesting that he claims to have visited a town in Iran where all three were supposedly buried. He also seems to think Zoroastrianism had something to do with them. Its obviously ahistorical and a misunderstanding of Zoroastrianism but, a neat story. There a point where he claims the fire worshipers there have eternal flames because a rock the Magi got from Christ was thrown on the ground and became an eternal flame that they worship.

I remember hearing 2 apocryphal Jesus stories from years ago. In one he could fly rather a bit like Superman. And in the other one a 5 to 8 year old Jesus and his friend were playing on the roof of a house, and the friend fell off of it to his death, so Jesus brought him back to life. You know, I'm not sure, but these 2 stories might be 2 things that happened in the same story.

Being Italian, I was raised as a catholic, however now that I am almost 50 and know a little about history and religions I am still really surprised about how something like Christianity can exist. It's such an amount of BS, sorry for being blatant. My attitude now is, please respect the Old Testament and leave it to the people it belongs to.

My take on the Magi is that they represent ideas Zoroastrian dualism, good v evil etc being fused with Judaism.

Revelation basically says that Jesus and Lucifer are the same force. I find this associated with the so-called “star of Bethlehem”. Amazing how the church never explains this connection. Whew! I need to relax!

The Magi guy the directions wrong. It was actually supposed to be John the Baptist. Who was the actual? Probably Messiah if you will but what do I know?

One of my premises if you will follow us along the lines that Jesus was trained in the arts of magic and sorcery and that he used those skills to nefarious ends by stealing the holy name of God etc. But it would make sense that he was recognized by sorcerer magicians and hence the continuation of that particular type of indoctrination and acceptance into that type of specialized learning. Absolutely, since this is my first time, Ashley kind of reflecting on this particular aspect of the Magi meant magicians or sorcerers coming to Jesus at birth as an anointed or an intended one. I believe that the verse really isn't anything about the King Herod and Jesus as the Messiah King juxtaposition. It is actually a a hidden passage. If you will like so many passages can be that is revealing a very important piece of information on a very kind of vague level. And it is basically telling us that Jesus is the anointed magician sorcerer. And yes I guess you could be the Messiah too. But thank you for making my my mind tingle this morning with you bots to ponder

I used to crush on men who looked like Brother Issa, Jesus? There is a story out there pointing out that Ceasar, and Cleopatra, are the parents of Jesus. It wasn't a vaginal birth, it was a caesarean 😮. In the Bible, Jesus has a favor with Egypt. Visiting his half sibs. He is the King, and this story goes all the way to Nepal, where brother Issa is famed on a statue.Ram Dass, said he saw the statue from the year one. He inquired, and it's supposed to be Jesus when he walked to India to seek solace. Or was it Mary and Joseph ? It sounds good told in a story, of Cleopatra, finding out Ceasar was assassinated she sent his children , and the children of Marc Anthony away in different directions so the soldiers of the new government in Rome, won't catch all of the children if they hunt them down. She sent the children of Ceaser, and Marc Anthony, away with her hand maidens. This story makes more sense to me than the one they told me at St. Finbars. But, where did the lovely Cleopatra go? 😮This is one of the mysteries of Egypt that still people talk about 1000s of years later. ✌️
