Where do you order the labels for the soap?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьHow many ounces are your molds?
ОтветитьI love your creativity!
ОтветитьI had a Pyrex container that I mixed the lye into the water with. Then the Pyrex exploded. Cut me up pretty good. We could only guess that the bowl was room temp and how hot the lye made the water it did that.

ОтветитьTD or Titanium Dioxide research revealed It causes lung Ca in humans and therefore has the potential to cause dna changes in humans. The skin is a large organ that can absorb whatever you put on it. Sunscreens are known to cause Ca and it has TD as one of its ingredients. The Safety Data Sheet for this whitener TD states to avoid contact with skin and eyes and to not ingest it. Gloves, protective clothing, eye protection, ventilation are required while working with it. Now why would you want to cook with it as bakers do and why would you want to shower with it. The information is there for everyone but you wont be spoon fed cause companies could fail. You have to look for it if you care to.
ОтветитьIt's so amazing to have another soaper in my state! What parts of Ohio are you in!? We are located in hamilton in Butler County near Cincinnati
ОтветитьI want to be Mary so bad!
ОтветитьI am new to making soaps, and I am having trouble with Shay butter . I cannot get my oils cooled down enough before my Lye water gets to cool. But also the oils start getting hard again before they cool down enough to add the lye to it...What am I doing wrong? How do you get it to cool down to 100 with out it setting up again? Also I tried to make body butter using shay butter as a ingrediant also , when I blended it , it was beautiful. But as I was putting it in the jars , it starts getting rubbery and I had to just stop...What am I doing wrong?

ОтветитьI loved watching this. Love the soap, love the process, and really love the display stand!!
ОтветитьThat was such an interesting video! There is a lot of work put into soap making!♥️🥰 Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьHello Mary, love your environment it must be a great place to live. I just have one comment for newbies is to pour the lye into the water at a slower pace, little by little rather than in one hit. This reduces the fume and risk of volcano. Yesterday i had one soap thicken to soap on a stick, total disaster, it was rose geranium EO knew it thickened but not virtually immediately. Definitely a first and last time i will use in soap this am its gone in the bin. I love your pink and white soap a very pretty swirl. Hope your little display goes well in that beautiful store. Love from Tasmania
ОтветитьHi, I love your labels for your soaps. Can you please share where do get it. Thank you
ОтветитьI've had plenty of times mind thickened way too fast when making my goats milk soaps. I finally figured out it was the hand mixer
ОтветитьI love your video!! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe!! Much love ❤️ from Kentucky 🙌🏻🦋🤗I absolutely love your display!!💕
ОтветитьI am an artisan soap maker and I want to compliment you on your video; it was very well done. Since you are new to soap making, a few things you might want to know. Never use glass for mixing your Lye Solution as your solution will reach temperatures of 200F-220F (hence the steam). And never use any metal except for stainless steel. For your second soap, what you did is call an "In the Pot Swirl"..all you have to do is give it a little stir with your spatula. You can also do a Drop/ChopStick...you would pour the white in the molds, drop the Pink from high up and then use the thick end of the chopstick, insert it into the soap, and give it a stir in a clockwise direction. It is my favorite swirl. Floral FOs are notorious for acceleration as are FOs with a 'spice' FOs. I ran your recipe through a SoapCalc and you're getting soda ash because you are using a lot of water; I would increase your Lye Concentration from 28% to 33%. It's the same amount of NaOH, just less water. I looked at your labels and the FPLA requires that you use the following: Net Wt 5 oz/142 g. Good luck.
ОтветитьI would love to have the exact recipe for this. I would love to try it. Thank you for sharing and for your inspiration. You make me think perhaps I could do this. I believe that when God gives you gifts, He expects you to use them. And you certainly do!
Thank you
Love it
ОтветитьOh how I Ioved watching you make the soaps. They will sell well in that lovely shop I'm sure xx
ОтветитьThe soaps are beautiful!
ОтветитьMary if possible could you price the materials needed to start soap making. Initial investment. I love how you go about creating soap.
ОтветитьYea i enjoyed the video.
ОтветитьAwesome video!!! Thanks so much!!!❤
ОтветитьLye is not healthy
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing your talent with us and your recipe. I took a cold process soap class earlier this month but the instructor was talking so fast it was hard keeping up and she did not share her recipe so I had no idea how much of anything to make the soap. Loved your presentation and how easy you made the process. Thanks again and hope to see more of your videos.💕🤗
ОтветитьI loved this video. I just received several bars. I got 2 lavender & camomile, 1 oat & honey, 2 Lily of the valley & 1 lavender. This is my second batch. I love it because it is home made & without all of the chemicals in them. They smell so pretty. I keep them stored with my towels so they smell good & my husband is also a big fan. We love the soap. Thank you for sharing the hard work that goes into the soap. Thank you J Fargo in Glendale AZ.
ОтветитьGreat video, very well explained.
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

ОтветитьYes!! I researched for 5 years before I mustered up the courage to work with lye!
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks for the recipe the total on the single recipe does not add to 100 on the soap calculator is one of your amounts not typed correctly? Thanks
