I was really confident embercleave would make it. Guess equipment is stringer than I thought
ОтветитьAny equipment that costs 0 mana. They are used in a storm deck called cheerios.
ОтветитьYou really need to learn more from edh format, there are a ton of cool interactions there. Nice video!
ОтветитьSkullclamp doesn't just take over games it takes over metas and entire formats when the clamp was in standard there was no control deck just affinity and clamp decks
ОтветитьYou should do mtg top 10's more often.
ОтветитьI think that you need better proofreading, because the number of typos in the video was exceptionally high.
ОтветитьCranial plating is better than cyst. Both are played but plating will forever be a 4x im aggro decks.
ОтветитьIf you plan to do more mtg tops, here are some ideas: best removal spells, best 1 cost creatures, best 2 cost creatures, best enchantments. You can use commander as a reference, cause most enchantments arent modern legal.
ОтветитьDo you play MTG now?👀
ОтветитьI definitely remember Skullclamp. Maybe they should've made it +1/+0 instead of +1/-1.
Also, I enjoyed using Sword of Fire and Ice in the past, after getting lucky to acquire one from a booster pack.
It's been a long while since I played Magic: The Gathering seriously, but some of these sound like fun things to try if I ever get my hands on the necessary cards somehow.
for kaldra compleat its other main downside is it cant bounce itself like batterskull can.. also i would mention its a reference to 3 separate artifacts that when all equipped/combined they are the separate pieces that would add together to form this.
Ответитьsword of feast and famine is way better then fire and ice, better colors to have protection from and untapping all your lands on contact with the opponent is just so good... and it does something else too, but I honestly don't remember what because it's not anywhere near as good as the untap.
ОтветитьI don’t understand how sword of feast and famine’s combat trigger isn’t insanely better than that of fire and ice. You get to untap all your lands.
ОтветитьMy favorite equipment is sword of feast and famine
ОтветитьCaw Blade 😁
ОтветитьSkullclamp is nuts in my elf deck
Ответитьsmall note, skullclamp was actually not buffed but rather nerfed at the last minute. Before it said what it currently said, it had the draw two effect but gave the creature +1/+0 or something like that. Which on paper sounds better than +1/-1 since it doesn't make your creature weaker. The problem is that it basically turned skullclamp into "pay 1 mana, sac a creature, draw two cards." which is insane. The closest card to this is I think dockside chef, which is 1 mana, with the ability 1 and 1black, sacrifice and artifact or creature: draw A card. So it cost double the mana to activate while only getting you half the number of cards.
ОтветитьI just realized this was Duellogs making a top ten for MTG. Just wanted to see what Equipment are good cus I was searching for new ones for a Vultron. Didn't realize till 30 seconds in that it was him.
ОтветитьYou made a best equip card video BEFORE making one for Yu-Gi-Oh?!? And don't tell me you made one. Cause you have NOT made one yet lolol. I've checked 15 times.
ОтветитьIf I was to put a sword from the sword of cycle it would be Sword of Feast and Famine. Untapping all your lands is massive. Giving protection from green and black is also imo much better than blue and red. Black has the best removal in the game and green has the biggest blockers and attackers. Being able to slice through that defense kills green decks. Only downside really is that green likes blowing up all your artifacts and enchantments so I could see that as the argument for bluered as the pro colors. But I think really untapping your lands and essentially having a second turn in your turn can be too back breaking on a board, or even ensuring you have all your mana open to protect yourself off turn is incredible too.
ОтветитьI'd say 3 of my favorite equipment should've had at least a shout out
1. Sunforger - Allows you to cast a 4 cost instant from your deck for free, so use Akroma's Will.
2. Spellbinder - Can imprint an instant and cast it upon battle damage, Temporal Cascade is one such card!
3. Worldslayer - When it hits a player, wipe the ENTIRE FIELD!
They're not as impactful as the ones in the list, but shenanigans ensue each and every time one of these bad boys hits the field!
Helm of the Host would be another strong contender. In EDH Helm + Godo is almost unbelievably broken.
And there's probably like at least 5 more swords that could make the list!
Top 10 tier 0 modern magic decks
ОтветитьI put skullclamp in my squirrel commander deck, totally worth it
ОтветитьShadowspear's activated ability is actually almost entirely irrelevant. The point of Shadowspear is that with low opportunity cost of a single copy which you can search up when you need it with Saga, lifelink and trample is the perfect combination of abilities to put on a big construct. Both hexproof and indestructible are rare keywords in Modern and Legacy and while sure, it might come up once every 50 games, you'd barely notice if that activated ability wasn't there. You'd still play it for the keywords because they completely slam the door on fair decks which might have otherwise been able to race or chump block the constructs long enough to survive.
ОтветитьI got so lucky picking up a jitte in a modern horizons pack I believe . I always wanted one of these staple weapons like sword of fire and ice but when I got the jitte I felt like the shi
Ответить"Equipment cards are kind of weak." Rookie mistake.
ОтветитьDude sword of feast and famine is way better then fire and ice just sayin , being able to untap all your mana and to male them discard is way better then deal 2 damage and draw
ОтветитьElbrus is probably my personal favorite equipment since it slots in so well with any deck running sigarda's aid.
ОтветитьIm a little surprised lightning greaves wasn't on the list. also while sword of fire and ice is the OG of the sword cycle, I think that feast and famine is generally considered to be the best one.
ОтветитьWhere’s embercleave?
ОтветитьI don’t have many mythical. . .i probably have half of these.
ОтветитьNobody knows about shuko. I’ve been messing with this card since I was 13
ОтветитьAs a dredge player, as well as someone who just loves playing graveyard matters decks, how the hell did I not know about the shuko combo? Jesus christ that's crazy
Ответитьkaldra compleat screams for flavor text
ОтветитьSkull CLamp in a Locust God deck is nuts
ОтветитьIllusionist+ Shuko AKA Cephalid Breakfast was my favorite combo deck back in the day with the Sutured Ghoul OTK.
Attacking with a giant trampler for the win was the only fun part, the rest is just methodical milling and playing it out.
Hold on a second, making an X/1 creature lose 1 toughness makes it die? There are creatures with 0 toughness though. Making an X/1 creature lose a toughness makes it an X/0 creature. Which is functionally the same as an X/1 but still. Since when has losing toughness been equivalent to taking damage?
ОтветитьThe sword of the meek worked with the krark-clan ironworks too
ОтветитьI love skull clamp
ОтветитьI feel like this whole list could've just been the Swords of this and that
ОтветитьI dont have any of these cards 🐘🐼🐮
ОтветитьArgentum armor is what I used with my mystic.
Ответитьlightning greves deserves meaning
Ответитьyou can attach with cranial plating as an instant. you can kill with ornithopter if they are unblocked if you have 2 black mana open
ОтветитьWhat the best way to cheat out Kaldra Compleat other then the ways listed here.
ОтветитьUmezawa's Jitte and skullclamp aren't good cards, they are error of design.
I don't play yu gi oh, but I play Magic and when I see all the mistakes and approximations you do about it, I can only wonder that you are doing the same for yu gi oh
What’s funny is that I put jitte in a deck specifically for the life gain
Ответить
