Tiger Snake Bites Caught on Video, Deadly Australian

Snake bites caught on a video camera! During a recent adventure hike we stumbled across this 5 foot Tiger Snake on a hiking trail in Australia. Lookout cause Tiger Snakes can kill you, in future we plan to do a video on what to do if you're bitten and how to avoid getting bitten :-)
The earliest confirmed reports of deaths by snake bite in Australia are from the Tiger Snake. Tiger Snakes come in many colours and often can be difficult to identify. NO SNAKE was harmed while making this video.

Australian venomous snakes have very small fangs but their venom is extremely potent compared to other species across the world. Our most deadly of all is the Eastern Brown Snake. The venom from one snake bite can potentially kill a dozen people ;-(

The Tiger Snake is listed as one of the top 10 most venomous snakes on the planet. The Latin name for Tiger Snake is Notechis scutatus.
