ОтветитьWow great video. I bought a standing desk on Prime day this year. It's already in the mail going back as after i put it together the sturdiness was just not there. it had a wobble and a shake. It was $200 CAD ... The one i got was a Motiongrey. said it would hold 250lbs but i couldn't seem to not wobble with two monitors. I'll stick with a regular desk lol.
ОтветитьWhat brand is your chair?
ОтветитьGet a tall desk and an adjustable seat/stool! or use tow seats!
Ответитьthank you
Ответитьnice. thank you for the clear review
Ответитьluv u man
ОтветитьI went with the Flexispot EN1 55x28 Standing Desk for the programmable controller. Very satisfied with the purchase and build quality.
ОтветитьI literally bought SHW last night and seeing your video made me cancel that purchase right away. I will probably buy the VIVO one because I like the 3 year warranty. Thanks for the info!
ОтветитьChapteeers!
ОтветитьAre all the desks in your video 48x30?
Ответитьso sliding keyboard tray is no longer a thing for computer desk? I found that top of desktop is usually too high, without keyboard tray, it is really uncomfortable to use.
ОтветитьI bought a frame from Amazon for $170 and a 78 inch tabletop from Ikea for $80. Works amazing
ОтветитьNone of the table tops have a full rounded edge, which means your forearms will get very sore.
ОтветитьHaving complaints about the speed of these kind of desks is absolute laughable! 😎
ОтветитьCan you link the desk you show in the opening few seconds of your video? That’s exactly what I’m looking for!
ОтветитьI'm looking at these desks because of the adjustability. TBH I don't give a rats ass about standing, but being able to adjust a desk +/- several inches for different types of gaming/media would be a huge plus. For the past few years I've been rocking the ikea butcher block on top of 2 ikea drawer units and that's worked but its not adjustable unless you shim it up, but there's times where I wish it were just like an inch or two lower, and times I wish it could be an inch or two higher.
ОтветитьI got myself a Herman Miller Ratio desk at 2000mm wide, yes it cost me four times as much but I think it will last me well over 20 years.
ОтветитьI have a similar fezibo that was a lot cheaper than the one you showed, has a solid keyboard tray, 4 piece black and wood grain top held together by 8 boilerplates and the frame is dual motor, almost 70 lbs without the top. It doesn't wobble at all, but I used real tools to assemble it. The only similarity is the flimsy cable management tray.
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьAny reviews on Famisky standing desks?
ОтветитьWatched this after i ordered the fezibo (not the same model). The thing is super stable better then my varidesk $900. It's strange they have so many different models. Ours go down 27.5 inches, no wired managed, it has conclusion avoidance. Cost $220 for a 55 inch. We have the one you reviewed as well it's not that good. It's very confusing for consumers which is too bad.
ОтветитьIt seems like you like the Flexispot the most but other than warranty, isn't the Monoprice better on stability (you mentioned best in group) and features (4 height settings)? Are there any other differentiators?
ОтветитьI spend about 14 hours a day sitting in front of a desk. I use the $20 foldable chair from Costco (perfect size) and a $40 height adjustable table to make sure the table aligns with my sitting height. Never experienced any pain.
ОтветитьYour black chair is awesome, can you tell me which make and model it is? is an AMIA?
ОтветитьThank u so very much for this hands-on review.
Qn 1- on all models the controls are protruding and seem vulnerable if something hits the egde of the table, or if it falls over during movement. Is it possible to attach them more under the top?
Qn 2- Are there manually adjustable ones?
Excellent, very helpful review. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis video made me feel way more comfortable going into buying my first standing desk. Really appreciate this.
ОтветитьCan't see grease streaks if you get it in black 😏
ОтветитьI wouldnt use these tables for office use :/
ОтветитьWho even buys desks? people buy frames
ОтветитьThis vidio is most important in life🥰
Ответить😍😍😍
ОтветитьThanks for the informative video! I decided to go for the $400 48x30 Flexispot with 3-stage frame that lowers further to 24”, rather than 28”, because I’m petite; and programmable controller so I save time trying to find the right height each time.
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks!
ОтветитьCan you make a video on electric l shaped desks? Or l shaped desk in general?
And anyone know what desk he has at the very beginning of the video?
You should do the same video, with manual crank desks :)
ОтветитьHave you tried the Eureka desks before and do you know how they compare to these models?
Ответитьwhich is more stable like how is the wobble and which wobbles less?
ОтветитьThe Husky 62" adjustable sitting or standing workbench is the best desk there is. Super strong frame and real solid wood. Zero electronics so there is no need for the up or down feature not working in the future. I am 6'2" 260 lbs and I can stand on top of my desk, the solid wood top is super strong. You can easily put your PC tower and monitors on top of it. The one I got does not have the drawers and is kind of hard to find. I found mine on sale in Home Depot for $225 and is normally $275.
ОтветитьQuestion - Is it possible to manually adjust and set these desks in the event of a motor failure?
ОтветитьI got the VIVO earlier this year and it's actually amazing. Yes, it's a hair slow going up and down and the lack of collision detection could be an issue for some. But for my use case, it was definitely the best value. It cost me $280 for the 60" at the time and I've noticed a huge improvement in my overall productivity in being able to stand. Regardless of which desk you choose (or if you just get a topper), I think it's a really good investment to get something that allows you to stand.
ОтветитьI have the SHW 48” and it arrived Friday. Got it for $220, put it together, and the desktop is now 1 SOLID PIECE. Also got the extended warranty, just in case. So far, no issues.
ОтветитьYou are amazing! :-)
ОтветитьThanks for the video!
ОтветитьI am wondering what desk are you working on at the start of the clip, I know it's not a standing desk but just curious which one it is.
ОтветитьI bought the one with a manual crank handle. No electronics to worry about and saved me maybe $20. If you're not dedicated enough to crank a handle you're probably not going to be standing at all anyway.
ОтветитьWhat do you expect for 300 dollars. Think of all the material and the labor that goes into making something like this. These are budget options and you will get what you pay for.
