Summertime Vibes, fresh jeans or shorts can't go wrong..as far as comparison to retro 1 heirloom there's none 'loom has boring colorway reminds me of a work boot easy pass..canvas n leather something different, like a Transgender retro 1 Top 3 ..Pun intended😁...Jordan Brand GOOD JOB!!.

It didn't flop at all. Lots of pairs sold out. They were restocked, and they're sold out again. That's not a flop.

For me the death blow was the sail midsole. I am not a fan of the faux aged look that sneakers are adopting nowadays. I usually find the aging effect to be too heavy, especially on shoes that don't have a earthtone upper. The heavy aging effect turned me off from trying to purchase the Lost & Founds as well as the Reimagined 3s. The Heirlooms you mentioned also use a sail midsole but given the earth tone of vanchetta tan the sail color appears more off-white/creme than yellowed. I wonder if the sail can be brightened up using deoxidation techniques? If so, if these hit clearance I may give them a go.

Ugh. How would they flop when most of the people I walk by actually love the shoe.

Things which sealed it for me:

1. Black outsole on a bright shoe. Thank God. I don't have to buy more sole protectors or scrub the bottom every other wear.
2. I dig canvas and denim and stuff like that on Nikes which aren't SB's. I was all over the Stüssy Vandals.
3. I tend to have less colorful fits and let the color pop on my sneakers, these are perfect for that especially with the black laces and swoosh.
4. I don't really tend to mess with warmer colors unless they're paired up with something else. In this case that makes these perfect. I couldn't pull it off if it were all the orange, I can't really pull off Chicago color ways etc... but I can do gradients, I can do things like UNC to Chicago etc.

Kind of agree on the sail, with these I don't mind it, but it needs to stop being the new default on so many shoes.
Story-wise, I don't know if I expected or should expect a story. 1's don't really do that, most of them tend to be tributes more than anything so this is in-character. Like the Brotherhoods. The closest to a story would probably be the Lost and Founds. So I don't really mind that much. Would agree that it would be nice to see more storytelling just in general.
