Hi, What do you suggest for the following problem I am facing:
I have the powerboard BN4400932B of a Samsung TV, which says the Standby power to be 11.8V.
I disconnected the board off TV and checked the Standby power to be ok I.e. about 11V, when I connect the board on the TV the Standby power drops to 4.5V.
What could be the reason?

My samsung tv lived 15 years and only it's display gone but it's sound is audible and everything is ok but only display gone

Stand by light blink 5 times & then nothing happen , I left it as is & then after a long time 12 hours TV started itself, I can watch functioning normally but as soon as I power off & re-start it won't start, red light blink 5 times & nothing happen. I replaced power board but same thing. Any body know what is the real problem with my TV... Thanks

My 27 inch samsung lcd tv has a LCD Panel board problem.(not T.O.C Board) its 2A fuse was burnt. so i checked and found the power 12v going to the board is showing dead short after the fuse..where do i start looking for the problem of this short, The Tv
is working with sound but no display...please help!

All these Chinese and Korean made TV's are Disposable. They break down after the warranty expires, that is why they are cheap to buy. NOT made to last.

Hmm so this test didn't work on mine. Mine has position 4 is on/off 3.3v position 8 is power on 3.3v. I tried on/off to ground since I'm getting volts and no bingo.

I have a samsung Plasma TV 43 S43SD-YB03. No image display . If on and off the RED led light can be appear. all change the power supply board but still cant be used. Besides that, power supply board voltage imbalance by dropping and a few second later voltage became stable at VS and VA. The T con board led is blinking green light. May I know what is the actual reasons why this tv can be play and how to repair it? Kindly help us . Thank you .

What do you mean by voltages missing? I was supposed to have three 12+ volt leads on the wide ribbon, but only had two wires in that part of the schematic, going from the power supply to the main. Everything else checked out fine, just seemed to be one wire missing from the connector. Is that what you're talking about, or just something not reading what it's supposed to?

does the power supply say 100-240 volts, I heard tvs can support dual voltage but they indicate only one voltage on the outside for each specific country even though they can work anywhere eg N.America and England, just like computers
