Even when the murderer is behind bars, mourning a murdered young woman NEVER stops🎉 Janelle did not live to raise her toddler, who was in the home when his father shot his mama

I also feel bad for Andy Seidel. Most of his life he’s been living in a prison of suspicion where nearly 100% of your hometown thinks you murdered your ex. Unfortunately his not being able to easily reconcile the breakup really hurt him. He’s very fortunate he at least had his mom alibi him. Otherwise I believe he’d be sitting in prison for decades until maybe a lawyer he could hire after DNA became a thing could clear him.

Thank you detectives for your relentless pursuit of Michelle's murderer and RIP beautiful Michelle 🙏🕊️🕊️ Jerry had no connection to Michelle? Oh yes there is, DNA
I think the family of Jerry are hypocrites because i bet before Jerry's arrest i bet they believed in DNA evidence and i don't know how they don't believe it now, like his blood was in that car. If one their family members were killed i bet they would believe the DNA then

Yes, they should use genetic geneology to solve crimes especially for the cold ones. The family deserve answers. Also if genetic geneology can help give names to the Jane/John Does who deserves to have their names back.

People don't realize that we have killers and all kind of perpetrators, rapists, thieves, living, working, breathing, walking amongst us.
It very could have been a one time ordeal, and the man was going to take it to his grave. He probably even could have been a born again Christian and became a respectful pillar of society, raising a family having a good job or business, helping the community, feeding the homeless, and volunteering to greet people at Church on Sundays.
We have people who have done these things amongst us, and some will never be caught, while some spend life in prison for crimes they didn't commit.
I believe that DNA technology has great potential in catching these perpetrators while also exonerating the wrongfully accused.
The fact that he didn't react on hearing the verdict, and the conversation he had with the jail mate, was VERY telling.
Not saying he LOOKED like a killer, but he DIDNT look like a SAINT either. I got bad vibes from him!!!

I'm glad his blood was found on her dress. They could have easily lied his DNA was found in the car through the car dealership. The dress never went through a car dealership...so case closed and rot in jail and hell. He never said why he killed her.

Isn't that how it always is? Average man commits a horrific crime and then goes home to his unsuspecting family, lives the life of "a good family man", and gets away with it until DNA evidence catches up to him and destroys the whole facade. I love how so many murders are being solved by genetic genealogy.

Sometimes crimes committed due to opportunity. The perpetrator doesn't necessary have to have any connection/relationship with the victims.

Well, Ted Bundy didn't seem dangerous to people either. Psychopaths often hide in plain site. Check out the Daniel Drill-Mellum case in Minnesota. Daniel Drill- Mellum is a Serial rapist who allegedly raped 17 women at the University of Minnesota and, was convicted of two rapes, and whose parents were a doctor who lectured on empathy and a lawyer. He was an intern for Al Franken.

So many people are opportunists. They would never commit a crime unless they just happen to be in the right place at the right time when nobody is around, and they are sure they can get away with it. Those are the scariest people to me!

People never cease to amaze me. Every human being is capable of doing horrific things. People don’t seem to understand that no matter how close you are to someone, you don’t truly know them. Just because you love someone & they put on a good show, doesn’t mean they’re incapable of committing heinous atrocities!

Showing her ex the crime scene photos when he wasn't even a serious suspect is horrible. Giving a young man PTSD with graphic photos of a girl he dated being stabbed- that's so horrible.

Through all this the police didn't try very hard at all.

DNA is definitely a tough thing to fight.
I believe his three comments were the most incriminating pieces of evidence. Him saying he may have blocked it from his memory, him taking his cellmate to “the mall” and saying he got to live his life so he’s “won”.

So the police admit they lifted DNA to trace the potential murderer, that just shows how easy it is to lift ( and therefore plant) DNA
Moreover the investigating cop was fully commited to impressing his dad by getting a conviction.
This stinks of injustice.

yes, i do. psychopaths often lead "normal" seeming lives as a coverup and mirror everything around them to appear normal, its entirely likely that he is the killer and had an episode back then, he may also have others under his belt that they haven't solved yet
