I actually binged all the Police Academy movies today.. I wanted to give it up during the fourth movie, figured that life was too short.
Michael Winslow was the only thing that kept me going.

The most painful thing about shooting my .44 Magnum is the price of ammo....

This reminds me of the first time I fired a single action old western revolver in 44-40. I had the a different results but landing a face shot ; yet almost doing a statue of liberty with the revolver.

My son who's 20 told me today they don't make fun movies like these no more ,he says all his friends have seen them and love them, what's happening, I thought it was me getting old but it's they haven't been making memorable character and movies like these no more. Sad

This scene still makes me laugh every time I see it and it reminds me a lot of the showdown scene with Martin Short's character and one of the bad guys from the movie The Three Amigos where the exact same thing happened where one of the bad guys gave Short's character a bigger gun that was so heavy he had trouble holding it up and when he fired the thing the recoil sent him sliding backwards and I think they used the same sound effect with the gun for both movies.

"Damn that was fun" right after blowing a posters balls off with a .44 magnum.
