First of all the dog sitting was a huge disadvantage u can see it first pick all its weight up then runs. On top of that the dog could run way faster if it wanted, u can tell it was just doing a little goofy run, when they really get into it you can tell easily. You need to find a way to get the dog to do full sprint like throw its favorite toy or something or a fake squirell 😂

It literally depends on the human and the dog like I can outrun my dog but my dog is a tiny poodle and it’s on the older side and I’m an athlete so it’s kind of expected

She could have easily left him in the dust if she was trying to win, but dogs are known to handicap themselves when they know they are playing with a partner not at their skill level. So even though she was just playing and not running to win, she was also probably taking it easy on him, so he wouldn't feel like he got beat so bad and not want to play anymore. All dogs care about is keeping the game going, not winning. We don't deserve dogs.
