Harbor Freight Boost Gauge how to remember color setting. ***Proper wiring to remember the color***

A very quick clip on the harbor freight boost gauge. I kept seeing reviews and videos saying that it doesn't remember the color after it turns off. I thought that was odd and I suspected that people were just not wiring it properly. I got it to work just fine and remember the color the next day and even days later.


Black - Ground
White - +12v switched trigger for dashboard lights/parking lights.(You could also wire this to a switched 12v source like an ignition wire but it will light up each time you turn on the car)
Orange - Constant +12v source(Battery or any 12v wire that is on at all times even with the key off)
