If i had been the guy with the QQ i would have just waited some seconds to bet the turn or to show on the river. His opponent would be dead and not able to turn over his cards, so no matter what you had for a hand you would have won.

It was right call on the turn, beacuse of pot odds and implied pot odds. Folding is a mistake
