One thing that makes me laugh about this scene. No, it's not Clark very politely threatening someone. No it's not the guy trying to push Clark and nothing happening. It's that this guy was probably trying with everything he had to stand back up and probably couldn't figure out why it felt like he was being pinned down by a truck, then there's knowing that later on...no one will believe him when he says "Kent held me down one handed and I was helpless"

We need to start a petition for the TV network to bring this show back! In a time when superheroes are being misrepresented to fulfill political dialogue. When Hollywood is firing seasoned employees and replacing them with college graduate activists. We need to stick up for what little accurate, decent, well thought out media exists.

They finally make a good superhero show and actually have a good fight for the end boss between superman and doomsday, although doomsday wasn't made by humans in the comics but thats another argument, so cant believe they are ending it on season 4. This beats the flash and supergirl hands down, forget about dc legends as thats just terrible

I love how the music is gone except for a soft beat that sounds like it’s Clark’s heartbeat, it even speeds up for a few beats when emit first looks at him, it would be terrifying if it started to speed up and he got angry

I like the subtlety of telling the guy “I will come for you “ not “ I will find you “ …. You can’t hide you can’t talk your way out of it all you can do is sit where you are and wait for the end

Why edit out when Lois says this is not a job for Superman and Clark says he’s not going?

"I will come for you" is absolutely chilling. That's not the threat of a hero, it's the promise of a father.

Cut the "Superman didn't going" part

You cut the best 2 lines out of this whole thing. Lois: This is not a job for Superman. Clark: He's not going.

I just always wonder what happens when people shove clark only to be met with whats essentially shoving against a brick wall or feeling what must be like a barbell loaded with 500lbs holding you down

I wonder how much he had to dial back his strength when he slapped the guys face to the bar. I imagine he would have to practice not accidentally killing people with what for him was gentle physical contact.

I kind of had a laugh when I saw the scene from two points of view - Clark and the other dude.
Other dude thinks: "What the... He didn't even flinch! Hell, he's crushing my head! How strong is this guy?"
Clark thinks: "Easy there, Clark... Eeeeeeasyyyy... just put in the minimum amount... not this much, his skin is starting to tear... lighter... damnit, think of him as an egg - you don't want to crush an egg... Just a little more... there, that's perfect. Now say your line. Damnit, stop struggling, you moron! Don't you realize I could literally embed your head in the counter? I was watching this scene while eating a bowl of milk and cinnamon toast crunch and the I spit the milk out my mouth the moment Clark smacked the man's head against the counter. I know he's superman, but that was pretty badass.
