Ok well are the parts n fixing it cheaper then buying a new one?? My back light is pity everything else works so I need those 2 parts.. how much ??

This is my problem. I have a black screen but sound. I did the flashlight test and vaguely see images. I have sond on other channels. Tv is 9 yrs old. Is it the backlight that that is out. Would it be easier just to get a new tv.

you did not cover, if you have no backlight and no picture during the flashlight test but do have sound. I have this issue with a Polaroid 50" model P50D300FP(A)

Immediately upon turning tv on, the home s teen shows nicely, but after about 20 seconds,No picture is showing .

My TV (75" TCL 75S431 won't come on. The front indicator light simply went away and the remote won't turn it on. We tried replacing the remote batteries, using a different power outlet, resetting the TV w/the reset button and by holding the power manual button while disconnected, and still nothing. We replaced the POWER SUPPLY BOARD and the problem still persists. When we press the "reset" button, the white indicator light flickers once, but still won't power up. Any ideas on what to do next?
