I just don’t understand how you can do this to a healthy child when parents struggle daily with these types of ordeals or people who want children and are unable. I truly hope she’s living her best life and I’m SO happy she is free. She should’ve never spent a day in prison.

The reason she murdered her mother is because Gypsy was part of the whole scam she benefited from everything too. And think about it whose story are we hearing hers and hers alone the other person is dead so what she's telling us is what she wants us to know. I actually seen the series and I'm sad for both her and the mentally challenged boy who fell in love with her I do not believe either of them should have received the sentences that they did! I think it's horrible for what happened to her. I just don't like her. She had the smarts enough to get a semi retarted guy to do her dirty work. To hear her say that she was scared of him i call BULL$H!T. IF she was ao scared then why did she stay in the hotel room with him? Gypsy is only out for what she can get and if you can't get it for her or find a way to get it to her than you are no good. She will probably be back in jail for some kind of forgery maybe something worse.

I’ve followed this case for years. Gypsy was not her mothers first victim. People need to go and look at some of the old documentaries about her story. There are allegations that Dede made other family members sick, and some of them died. Also, for people saying Gypsy should have just run away, or told authorities, her mom chained her to a bed when she tried to run away the first time, and she also had Gypsy declared legally incompetent, so no the police wouldn’t have just believed her. Her mother was a pathological layer who could manipulate highly educated doctors, along with so many other people, she would have just found a way to manipulate her way out of the situation. Gypsy was also psychologically and physically ab*sed and t*rtured which means at the time, she isn’t going to make the same choices or decisions that people who haven’t been through all of that would. She didn’t ask to be famous, her case is just really well known because of how out there it is.

What happens when her 15 mins of fame is up I hope she knows once everyone has a bite they will throw to the wolves

As a person still living under control of her own mother: I feel it all. My mother didn't lie about my illnesses tho but she's the one saying that my actual sickness prevent me from functioning on my own. My illnesses being depression, Crohn's disease and autism. I'm 27 yo and done with living like that.

Still til this day I think it us unfair that boy got life..cause to picked him out she learned from the best. Now she is living her life just like she wanted..an he is rotting away

I think the mom didnt know the difference between having a child and having a puppy. She thought she owned Gypsy because she gave birth to her and wanted her to always be there so she tried to brainwash Gypsy into believing she wouldn't survive without her and it worked for a little while but eventually Gypsy started to see the rouse and wanted out. And only knowing Disney films - kill the villain live happily ever after...

The new doctor could have received all medical records/diagnosises from Medicaid, who paid for Gypsy's medical procedures.

That's what I was worried about; GR being addicted from all the times her own mother was drugging her. She had her doped up. And she carried that back to prison. Geez, what a life.
