I wouldn't have made a good commander in the Civil War. It would break my heart seeing my men get cut down like that...

These documentary series are incredible! I could not see the accuracy of this docuseries being released today without viewers claiming it was Lost Cause myth or pro-Confederate. If it's not proslavery vs antislavery as taught in school, then it's labeled Lost Cause mythology.

How, in the 21st century, do you have sorry a** racists in special ops or military when you all risk life and limb downrange for the USA. Like you said, that mission is 1st. I don't understand. But thank you, Bro, for your service and what you do.

Long live the South never forget the atrocities and crimes at the American government committed against its own people while destroying the Constitution and the freedom and liberties of its citizens that it insured. Abraham Lincoln was a tyrant and he was praised by Karl Marx.

Being a descendent of what they would call a son of the South? My family played a part in the founding of the country of Texas later to become the state of Texas. My relatives are active participants in the suns and the daughters of the south. I am bringing all of this up because I have spent most of my life fighting for human equality. I am proud of my family, I am not proud of our heritage of once having owned people, actual human beings! Having my great grandmother, tell me that our slaves loved us so much they stayed and worked for nothin, just room bored? They didn’t want to leave? They liked it where they were? In my naïve years, I once told my Rastafarian friend this very story. He looked at me with sad eyes and he said , “No Mannn! They stayed because they had nowhere to go! This idea of the kindly slave master was quickly put to rest by my friend. It was then I understood why they stayed ? That they would be harmed if they had left. Not by us by others whom had not even told their slaves they were free! In Texas, we have a thing called Juneteenth. That’s when the slaves really were emancipated. The war ended in April. But it took 2000 US troops showing up in Galveston, Texas, June 19, 1865 to finally free the slaves in the great state of Texas. My whole point is this, I have no southern pride when it comes to the Civil War. I don’t glorify my ancestors part in it. And I hope everyone who’s watching this understands the Civil War was not about state rights? That’s a load of garbage! It was about slavery, plain and simple. And if you ask me, the people who say that it’s about state right are the same people whom believe that they are superior somehow to their fellow man? That couldn’t be further from the truth? And in fact, they are an inferior form of human being? I only wish that the good Lord that they say they worship, will find a way into their hearts ? God bless and long live these United States of America!

Funny the true history of the civil war vs what is TAUGHT in. Schools!!! The war was about state & sovereign rights!!! That we all lost! When that was eliminated from constitution & the abolishment of the United States of America to the Republic of the United States of America!!!

Also could you post Civil War Journal episodes too?? I LOVED that series, it is among the shows that got me hooked on the Civil War and reenacting.

people this assault is credited to grant yes the charge did what it was supposed to do but the higher leadership screwed up why would some one in charge to ever enter that crater knowing that the remainder of the southern troops were still at large and would recover grant should have the union troops to fortify the out side of that cradle instead of going down in it

So, vigilantes are organizing, so that "there is no price gouging" why are there prices on food that is being brought in free to be distributed for free? Seems like Hamas is trying to steal the food and sell it to fund their military!
