ОтветитьBest version by far of this classic, mention of Christmas or not🎅🤶☃️☃️🎅🤶☃️
ОтветитьThis is THE definitive version of "Sleigh Ride". No other comes close to the joy it brings.
ОтветитьOne of the best, treasure!
ОтветитьThank you for the upload of this piece. So wonderful to hear it played with emotion. That was Arthur forte. He's composing in heaven now.
ОтветитьAt least two of the photos are of the NY Philharmonic! 🤔
ОтветитьMr. Anderson was arranger for the Boston Pops.
ОтветитьThis orchestral rendition was also played at the Annual Festival of Carols in St Thomas Ch, Jersey, Channel Islands in 2022. An Incredible movement with the power of instruments and festive delight to listen to; I particularly liked the wooden claps in the bridge. What is the name of the object used?
ОтветитьR.I.P. Maestro Fiedler
ОтветитьThe genius of Leroy Anderson combined with the perfect orchestration. This song defines Christmas.
ОтветитьLove it so much, as band librarian in high school I passed it out again in June and we played it again.
ОтветитьThis gives me the Christmas filling
ОтветитьOur high school band played this piece at the Christmas concert. Long time ago.
ОтветитьOh tje memories this song stirs up. Classic
ОтветитьPlayed this in concert band in high school! Has always been my favorite version of Sleigh Ride!
ОтветитьThe best! I smile every time I hear it.
ОтветитьWONDERFUL ... MASTERPIECE FROM LEROY ANDERSON ... THIS MUSIC MEANS CHRISTMAS ... JUST THAT !!!
ОтветитьHad to listen to this today. I lived in MA in the 1970’s and 80’s, and also NH. I had to hear this dealing with sweltering, bill Gates chem cloud filth, and dead oxygen warfare, where I live now. Beautiful snow scenes. Not the frozen white slop and rocks, dumped on us last winter. Thanks, bill, for the heart, attack.
ОтветитьOne of my original favorite Christmas instrumentals
ОтветитьWho doesn't want to go on a Sleigh ride at Christmas?❄⛄
ОтветитьTo me it isn’t Christmas until this song is played and this Version. It’s just Beautiful ……. ♥️🎶🎄🥀🎄🎶♥️🥰⛄️🤗Chris ,🎄⛄️🎄🎁
ОтветитьThe best version of "Sleigh Ride" .
ОтветитьWhich version is this? '49, '59, or '70?
Thanks for uploading, and may I be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas, 2024.
see. it doesn’t have to be fast to be fun.
ОтветитьBeautiful! 😊❤
Ответить😊❤
ОтветитьMiss the fresh falling snow
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьMy favourite Christmas instrumental ❤
ОтветитьI wonder what trumpet player did the first whinny at the end, and if Mr. Anderson actually wrote it in, and what would have the notation looked like.
ОтветитьPerfect! Uplifting! Beautiful!
ОтветитьLong Live Classical Music❤
ОтветитьThe Best rendition of this song Ever!! I would have Loved to experience this in person.
ОтветитьThe best version ever!
ОтветитьMy favorite secular winter song!
ОтветитьArthur Fiedler and the Boston pops commissioned all of those short Leroy Anderson wonderful pieces of music, they wouldn't exist without him.....
ОтветитьI used to watch Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra every Sunday night with my mom and dad. That gang of musicians always brought it in home. Their rendition of “Sleigh Ride” is one for the ages!
ОтветитьI grew up hearing this on our stereo and on TV. I'd forgotten what Arthur Fielder looked like. Thanks for posting this! It's Christmas day, 2024, and I'm sitting here all alone. I haven't even been able to watch any of my Christmas movies because I'm alone and so damned depressed. But hearing Sleigh Ride helped. Merry Christmas to all!!!!
ОтветитьBrought back many memories of our family listening on the old black and white TV. Still my favorite rendition.
ОтветитьI love Fiedler! He loved women and fires and fire trucks and he was the maestro!
ОтветитьMy late father loved Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops!!! Great memories!! Thank you for posting!!!!🎄🎄🎄💯💯💯
