This orchestral rendition was also played at the Annual Festival of Carols in St Thomas Ch, Jersey, Channel Islands in 2022. An Incredible movement with the power of instruments and festive delight to listen to; I particularly liked the wooden claps in the bridge. What is the name of the object used?

Had to listen to this today. I lived in MA in the 1970’s and 80’s, and also NH. I had to hear this dealing with sweltering, bill Gates chem cloud filth, and dead oxygen warfare, where I live now. Beautiful snow scenes. Not the frozen white slop and rocks, dumped on us last winter. Thanks, bill, for the heart, attack.

Arthur Fiedler and the Boston pops commissioned all of those short Leroy Anderson wonderful pieces of music, they wouldn't exist without him.....

I used to watch Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra every Sunday night with my mom and dad. That gang of musicians always brought it in home. Their rendition of “Sleigh Ride” is one for the ages!

I grew up hearing this on our stereo and on TV. I'd forgotten what Arthur Fielder looked like. Thanks for posting this! It's Christmas day, 2024, and I'm sitting here all alone. I haven't even been able to watch any of my Christmas movies because I'm alone and so damned depressed. But hearing Sleigh Ride helped. Merry Christmas to all!!!!
