More of the same please grant great tutorial
ОтветитьAmazing job and superb results! One day this novice will give it a go, thank you for a great video. Top channel! 👍👍
ОтветитьAbout time you polished up your act big chap no polishing needed on this job 👍
ОтветитьGrant, when you taking bookings old chap, want to get my old girl in with you
ОтветитьI'm with you bro, let the paint correctors use their tears to lubricate their 1000 grit sandpaper. Sterling job on the smart car by the way, as a young apprentice my tradesman used to say, "let the machine do the work" dead right. 👍🇳🇿
ОтветитьWill the Renault gt be getting a show car paint job 👍 be good video on that 👍😁
ОтветитьGood vid bert, your jobs come out cleaner than ours in a booth 🤣🤘
ОтветитьStunning! Really appreciate the time you’ve taken to do this video, cracking results and an honest approach. Brilliant 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьWell explained as usual Grant..not over complicated...over the years as a workshop controller I used to do 2 weeks in someone else's job,ie bodyshop,, valeting,, sale's,,,etc.. understanding someone else's job and the pros and cons of there job helps you be a better manager,,,I spent 2 weeks sanding filler and primer down also flatting and polishing etc after 2 weeks I had arms like Popeye,,but more importantly I understood someone else's job.....great video as usual Grant keep safe...
ОтветитьLong video? Seemed like 5 minutes. That’s a thumbs up on this one. Top video Grant. I noticed the Smart isn’t finished so hopefully we get to see completion and a numbers crunched including time spent on the repair 👍
ОтветитьAnother great video. Learned a lot watching this.
ОтветитьGood advice there on the difference between polishing. And just so right on all these compounds they’re full of fillers and people never use panel wipe in between so think after one pass all the scratches are gone and do those beautiful Instagram shots. 👌🏻
ОтветитьWell explained Grant, Lovely job 👍😉
ОтветитьBrilliant video Grant! Well timed, just got my 1st DA machine. Could you do a video on how to repair small lacquer peel? ✊🏽
ОтветитьReally interesting. I have dabbled in this before but it's always that leap of faith to flat off the paint in the first place 😱😱. Will you polish the other side when you put the car back together for the full effect?
ОтветитьLove it Top job as usual, do you need an apprentice 😆
ОтветитьListen I had a bird once I nicknamed DA...she was dual action too 💪
ОтветитьExcellent work as always. Great tutorial, simple, easy and proper. 💪🏼👊🏼💯
ОтветитьVery well explained grant top bloke how’s the cossie coming on now ???
ОтветитьAnother dead handy tutorial for anyone wanting to have a go. Out of interest how long to do the process you did on that panel.
ОтветитьI’ve learnt more in the last 38 minutes about finishing and polishing than I have in 30 years plus, thanks for that, and as usual a top job 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьNice,I can see why you get such good results,as always top work, car is looking sweet👍👍👍
Ответитьgreat job grant 10/10
ОтветитьLooking good👍best get your tin hat on for when all the detailers turn up🤣🤣
ОтветитьNice informative video thanks Grant
ОтветитьReally helpful video Grant! Keep them coming!
Ответитьthis level bodywork is lost on smart cars vans and fiesta rear kwaaarahhs
this is rolls Porsche Ferrari quality refinishing I’m telling yerrrr
Brilliant “how to” 👍
ОтветитьNice work Grant, the paint is so clear, with the DA,it looks good to use on the paintwork.
ОтветитьGreat job 👌,
My car is in need of a respray how much do you charge 😜
Fantastic video Grant, knowledge is key and sharing that knowledge with others is awesome thank you. 👍
ОтветитьLove the how to video's Grant, not panel wiping is what I have been doing wrong as like you say compound is full of fillers. 😀👍
ОтветитьTop video Grant, one thing I’ve noticed after watching you for a while, you do love getting all the kit? 👍
ОтветитьThanks grant great knowledge passed on !!
ОтветитьVery well explained grant and naw I know why I got pig tails . Will be getting a finishing 2.5 sander 👍
ОтветитьIn my detailing days I used a two stage process with a rotary. 1st stage with 3m fast cut then 2nd with ultrafina. This method was the most efficient as it removed 95% of the defects without the need for a third stage which helped keep costs down for clients.
ОтветитьPanel wipe to get the fillers off.. noted. Good tip my man!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial.
ОтветитьA true expert at work and a great video. Great advice on real paint correction :)
ОтветитьHow long have u been a sprayer
ОтветитьWhat a difference from your old workshop , best of luck going forward Grant 👍👍 can’t wait to see it finished
ОтветитьLove the explanation of your method but your machine work too fast and angle all wrong keep the pad flat and work slow.👌
ОтветитьOne of the best wet sanding videos grant straight forward and to the point fantastic keep up the good work
ОтветитьEnded up looking nearly as good as it did out of the gun Grant - just with loads of extra hours put in. "LITFA" kinda applied here. If you spray as good as you spray - LITFA....
ОтветитьWhat type of panel pipe are you using grant ? Water based or solvent ?
ОтветитьHello Grant, what do you use to wipe the panel with, is it just water with lint free cloth or you use chemical degreaser. Be patient with me guys I am learning and in process spraying my car this summer.
Ответитьgreat job
ОтветитьI’ve just leaned why my diy spray job, flat and polish hasn’t come up as good as that. It’s way better than it was, just not as good as yours 👍
ОтветитьGreat Video
