The Ultimate IMMORTAL Paladin For End Game! Elden Ring Best STR/FAI Build Highest Damage & Healing

Finally coming back to this game after my first few runs were the classic OP ones (blasphemous blade, rivers of blood, don’t worry I never do PVP so nobody had to suffer except the bosses) and was looking for something more skill-based. I always love applying weapon buffs and also slinging ranged incantations like Blackflame and Lightning Spear so seeing a build that plays perfectly into this was an awesome find, thanks for making this vid, it’s great!

Edit: Where I’m at right now in my Str/Fai build, Magma Wyrm Scalesword is a beast too! Only issue is the two-handed heavy attack having a finicky hitbox and barely any range…

I have nothing against this build - it's solid, for sure...but spamming Ashes of War is just not my style...that's why I don't care much about most OP Builds - most of them are Ash of War dependent... I still prefer the good ol' Dark Souls gameplay :)

If you're choosing the Banished Knight's GS over the Iron GS because it looks cooler, might as well go all the way and use the Knight's GS which looks way more "paladiny", has only 1 less base ar and has a little better range. Meanwhile the great stars (which doesn't look "paladiny" at all) does have a tiny heal on hit and bleed proc, neither of which are very powerful unless using a multi-hit AOW like prelate's charge or wild strikes. The Great mace on the other hand has better scaling and slightly better range which is perfect for single hit AOWs like prayerful strike.

Hey just got the game a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know what armor this is?

I think soreseal is a trap at this stage of the game, the endurance and vigor you gain is far offset by the mitigation loss so the only benefit is the strength.
I find the way to think about it is you aren't losing 10% of your health, you're losing 10% of all hitpoints from your flasks, miracles and weapon art which adds up to a lot, particularly with a heavy self healing build like this.

As of 1.8 the Ash of War: Sword Dance doesn't have a heavy option.

For honor

I've been using a high Vigor build with heavy Great Stars and Wild Strikes AoW and regen (Icon Shield, etc.) and noticed the damage start to fall off in the late game against some bosses (Fire Giant in particular). I like the faster overall speed of the Greatsword option here and wasn't aware of Prayerful Strike, I may give that a go.

Saying you're immortal in a souls game is insulting.

You know I personally would prefer, especially with this high of a focus of str over faith, using the heavy greatsword (i suggest lions claw) or even the giant crusher. Then you can hit ur weapon with vykes dragon bolt and golden vow using the dragon cult seal and then double hand it and boom, youre well over 1k damage with 2 good long lasting buffs giving you offensive as well as defensive bonuses. The greatsword lets you keep that great moveset with the amazing-for-pvp poke move and even better stagger potential! Just my 2 cents, not saying its better, just is my current str/fth playthrough im having a lot of fun with! This coupled with clawmark seal bestial sling and boulder toss, and a few dragon cult incantations, im quite the force to be reckoned with. I wouldnt say im as good at killing large groups of enemies as my arc/dex first playthrough, what with that scarlet rot breath and occult hoslows whips and elenoras poleblade moveset, but im certainly fucking up bosses way easier and winning one on one fights like its no problem, especially when i hit that sweet sweet stagger!
