What do I do when someone scares me and makes me feel worse about myself when she's stressed?

Amen, thank you God for your forgiveness and mercy.

I moved back to the Midwest so I can be with my daughter and transferred to a job that I knew how to do and I was very comfortable with. But the company was not very good and I left it for the post office. The post office was even worse. It was very toxic and the hours and the days were odd and I just could not see myself working there for very long. Something in my soul and in my gut told me that I needed to quit in order to be mentally stable. Luckily I had a little bit of a money cushion so I went ahead and quit. Now I am unemployed and haven't been unemployed in many many years. Sometimes I feel like a total loser but I am using this time to accept my situation which has been difficult. To grieve. But also to connect with God. As a former atheist and recently a former agnostic I'm starting to get to know God and I hope to know him very well soon. Please pray for me and I need a breakthrough. Rick Warren is a false teacher who teaches false doctrine, he may seem right sometimes, but don't be fooled. He welcomed women pastors in his church (contradicts 1 Timothy 2:11-12), excluded sin, repentance, and wrath (from God) in his book "The Purpose Driven Life" (contradicts the Great Commission), and he even learned about Islam from his neighbor and prayed in the name of a false god in 2008 (contradicts 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, 1 John 5:21 and other countless passages that condemn idol worship) to name a few things. Jesus said "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves, by their fruits you shall know them". We are sinners who deserve God's wrath and judgment in the lake of fire because of our sin and rebellion, God is holy, just, and righteous and will punish all sin, but Jesus came to die for our sins on the cross, taking the punishment we deserved and died in our place, and then He rose from the dead by the power of God the Father. If we accept this and confess and renounce our sins to God, ask for His forgiveness, and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, surrendering and committing ourselves fully to Him or as He said, "deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23), you will, by God's grace only, be saved. Read and study the Bible and use it to test teachers to see if they are biblically accurate (1 John 4:1), pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 and Ephesians 6:18), live by the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-14), and share the Gospel with others in the power of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8). Don't watch Rick Warren, he is a false teacher, remember, just because they appear good doesn't mean it is who they are inside, make sure their actions match what they claim. Expose false teachers for who they are (Matthew 23:1-36). Motivation doesn't make up for lack of truth. If you read 2 John 1:10-11, you will read that if you support, encourage, praise, or welcome a false teacher, you are participating in their evil work, so don't watch Rick Warren or support him anymore.

Ive been waiting my entire life for some glimmer of victory my life has been a total failure Im 64 yrs old so its realistically not going to happen not everyone is blessed even the disciples were destitute homeless and went without any healing and died horrable deaths but when they enterd Gods kingdom things would have changed...as for small group support i have never seen or experienced that in any church mostly the opposite you get kicked when your down

         Exodus 34: 6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty.
     It looks like it's always us who refuses to repent, so that  God cannot clear away our sins.  Even satan who comes down here, intent on trouble knowing his time is short- that him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out...prefer to remain guilty.  Even though God brings Job to his attention that Job throws away his sins.
      Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

You are the blessed one of the Faithful Lord to simplify and teach His Word. My failures are countless and I have learned today they are my lessons for growth because the steadfast love of the Lord God never ceases. He is merciful and always ready to help us with our growth if we are ready to listen to Him.
