Growing up, all of our tableware had "US Navy" imprinted on them. Same with our blankets, dad's tools, as with a whole bunch of other stuff. I guess he purchased it from surplus sales......I was later told that one of Dad's jobs in the Navy was that of a Comshaw artist. 😆
