Fantastic acting by both of them
Ответитьthe guy just looks really annoyed
ОтветитьScared me every time.
ОтветитьThis advert and the one where there is a dead kid moving by himself across the road getting dragged scared me so bad, does anyone know what that other add is called? it’s a dead/dying child who moves by himself and is getting dragged around a road I believe, that add was scary
ОтветитьFuckin hell this used to scare the shit out of me when i was little
Ответитьradio ad versions are worse imo
ОтветитьI was probably about 9 when this advert first aired and it gave me so many nightmares
ОтветитьI like that you see the man on the bus. It's almost like a hint that he lost his licence after the crash.
ОтветитьI saw this ad as a child at 7 years old and it terrified me, to the point where I was afraid of seeing this child in the foot space during dark car rides, or under my bed at night. That child was the demon I would imagine trying to grab my ankles when I ran up the stairs lol. I used to hate this ad so much, I don't know if it was just on late night tv but I never stayed up very late so idk. Traumatising honestly.
ОтветитьGreat ad. Makes you THINK.
ОтветитьI remember when I watched it as a child I was to scared to sleep and then when my dad went to go to the toilet he saw me sitting there scared so then he came in my room and he picked me up so I could go sleep with him-
ОтветитьThis advert is cursed LMAO I used to watch this as a kid and was frightened
ОтветитьThis advert is perfect and traumatising. I’m deadly serious if I was in that situation I would kill myself. I wouldn’t be able to live with the guilt and shame
ОтветитьI have finally found this. THIS TERRIFIED ME WHEN I WAS YOUNG.
ОтветитьAnyone know why we don’t see these kinds of adverts anymore? Definitely need to bring them back. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.
ОтветитьStraight after the Think! "Kill your speed, or live with it" PIF on the BBC Two schools broadcast, the Classic Animal Tracks award-winning short plays.
ОтветитьThis ad traumatised me as a kid used to have nightmares about it n everything, it worked tho cos I’d never drink & drive, absolutely stupid & selfish behaviour. If you wanna risk your own life that’s down to you, but don’t risk other peoples lives just because you’re too tight to pay for a taxi.
ОтветитьThis advert has haunted me since I was a little kid!!
ОтветитьEveryone is writing that this ad traumatised them as a kid... I too came to write the same thing. I guess the ad did a good job on leaving an impact on the viewers.
ОтветитьSome of you are missing the point of the add it’s showing the consequences of driving too fast Xx
Ответитьhelp
ОтветитьYou're all a bunch of bubbas on this vid, if you was a kid back when this came out. You barely got to see when the world was still good haha
ОтветитьI’m so glad this is the first time I’ve seen this at the age of 24 because if I saw this when I was a child I’d pass out
ОтветитьTo me, though it's not as graphic as others out there, is one that always sticks with me, I used to find it near I.possible to watch
ОтветитьI remember this when I was a kid, I didn't understand it tbh but now it's seeped in.
ОтветитьThis has me HOWLING with laughter! Especially the bit where he’s hiding under the desk!🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this ad on TikTok I thought it was like showing the future so later in the ad THEN he kills the kid
ОтветитьI clipped a teenager recently, i was not speeding or anything, went over the situation many times i my head afterwards, even drove back there to see if there was anything i could have done different. It was not my fault, it was dark, they were dressed head to toe in all black, darted out between cars and i just clipped them knocking them to the ground. Luckily all they had was a hurt knee, nothing serious, and they managed to walk off on their own after realising they were ok. Its a bit of a wake up call, even know there was not much i could've done to avoid them, it still makes you think that what if i didnt brake and swerve, if they went over my bonnet, under the wheels etc.
ОтветитьI’m 30 for a reason… so I can make jokes at how outdated and ridiculous these ads were even then (at 13-14) and now in retrospect, in spite of the best intentions of them 😂
Ответитьpeter griffin
ОтветитьI've never forgotten this advert. Its horrifying
ОтветитьI used to have to leave the room when this advert came on as a kid!! Absolutely terrified me😭😭
ОтветитьBloody terrifying ad. I'm in NZ now but always remember this and the impact it has had on me. I just simply don't speed because I couldn't live with myself if I killed a kid. Most effective ad ever.
ОтветитьAhhhh haaaa hahaha
ОтветитьPerfect advert for Halloween season! Scare them straight!
ОтветитьThis was one of the most powerful ads ever, it’s stuck with me since I was a kid and I have never forgotten about it and probably never will. It certainly made me wise up way before I even passed my driving test, very good ad despite it scarring a lot of kids😂
ОтветитьHaunting and disturbing! Remember this coming on at around 2am when i was dosing off infront of the TV. Didnt sleep much that night
ОтветитьSeveral years later, I still think this is one of the most brilliant and disturbing pieces of film ever produced. The performance (which it indeed is) from the lead actor is superb. He looks, and is haunted. Just incredible.
ОтветитьHow was this ever allowed on tv before the watershed. Terrified me as a child.
ОтветитьHonestly, kids these days just lying around.
ОтветитьIm 22 now, but saw this as a little kid and it creeped me the fuck out, I hate this psa lol. But I have been driving now for 3 years and I definetely taught me not to drive like an idiot.
ОтветитьI've watched a lot of PSAs / PIFs. I usually have no problem rewatching them, since I'm mostly able to get past the initial shock.
This is the one ad I skip. I just can't watch it. I have it paused as I'm writing this and as soon as I post this comment I'm browsing out of here.
Who left these damn dummies everywhere
ОтветитьYep. scared me right into 3rd gear.
ОтветитьThis must be Kathy's father
ОтветитьI only ever saw this ad as a kid once, and that was all I needed. It haunted me ever since, so I guess that's some trauma I need getting over... I was looking for this ad for ages, I just wanted to know I wasn't dreaming, my overactive childhood imagination wasn't lying to me... I've seen decapitations, executions, cartel videos... nothing stuck with me like this.
ОтветитьI remember them showing this on TV all the time. So haunting
ОтветитьStraight to the point and the message worked!
ОтветитьI just saw an Australian version of this and I was like I swear I saw that on uk and here it is
Ответить
