Numbers coming out of RNG or (random number generator) computer chips are not true random numbers. They are psuedo random numbers. There is a seed thrown in to initiate a unique algorithm producing the output. There are multiple variations that the algorithim can be manipulated during the course of execution like the length of time before the output is generated, or some other innovations that make an algorithim unique for each seed. In contrast, lotteries and bingo halls using numbered balls in a bowl are the ones that are spitting out true random numbers. But even those can still be biased by the weight variations of the balls. That being said, lottery spinners are closer to being random than RNG's. Lottery and Bingo Hall operators don't really care what numbers comes out. They already took their cut before the draw is over. On the other hand, it's already established that slot machine chips come in different return percentages. So how are these percentages built in the program? Wouldn't that contradict the definition of randomness. There has to be some form of feedback on the amount of cash going in to monitor and maintain the rated net return. The higher return percentage machines are like the ones advertised by some Vegas casinos as loose slots while the lower return percentage machines are the tight ones one can find on some native run casinos and most casinos on the strip . I also have a theory that if a slot machine accumulated so much cash in, it will adjust it's probability factor to loosen up and possibly payout a big jackpot, and if that big jackpot results in a significant dip on its net return figure over its lifetime, then the program will tighten up in order to maintain the rated net return. So I've actually seen machines giving out repeat jackpots withing a few hours. Those are the ones in my opinion have been bloated with cash from previous high roller players on it.

Every spin has the same odds. Machines won't suddenly end or start a winning streak. It's totally random. Play because it's fun, not because you think you'll get rich.
